How well does Marylin Manson usually sell?

All the pre-orders must really help Liam as we've been waiting months. Hope he gets the #1

It will be number 1, without a doubt. The key for being a great/good/ok start will be total sales. Foo Fighters sold 61000 last week and The Killers are going to sell around 55000 this week. Something around this would be a great comeback in terms of sales.
Beady Eye last album sold 34000 in its first week, for example

The darkness? LOL. Theyll be lucky with top 5. Dont even play the main stage at shockingly small festivals. When was there last no.1 album? The first one?

55,000. I work in sales. I'm sure I could sell 55,000 of an album lol doesn't seem much for number 1

DGSS pulled about 66,817 in its first week - an equivalent of a #1 today. Would expect Liam to end up in that number range minimum or get closer to the 150k range as he's done monster promo and the singles have some healthy streaming numbers.
Just for comparison, DOYS got over 200k in its first week....

There's no competition in that list. Liam will be number 1 and quite easily at that. Could outsell the number 2 album 3:1 easily enough.
In fact I'd be fairly confident he'll sell more than the rest of the top 5 combined.

Easily no 1. He would have sold thousands just on pre-orders for the early access tour tickets code alone. Not that it helped many people but certainly would have increased pre-orders.

Has there been any mention of an estimate of number pre orders on the album

How much money would Liam make out of say 60,000 sales? He must be only taking half the songwriting credits.

#1 for sure with very good sales and thats the strategy from the company. They concentrated in album sales with all that ''preorder the album n get the single/track''! thats a company desicion n i suppose they know better.
otherwise all the singles could have great chart positions. With the preorders and no physical sales (could be very strong for liam fanbase) all these songs lost a high position in the charts. even WOG with its wed release (#60 for only one day sales!!! and next week #21) lost a healthy dose of sales and a place in the top 15 probably. FWIW with a '7 vinyl could still be for weeks in the top75-top40, same for chinatown or greedy soul

I know I keep saying it but.. I'm Impressed with the PR. No one can say that he didn't put himself out there. He's done print and video interviews in most major countries.. I think that is also going to really help him with sales.
It makes you wonder if he would have had a different attitude toward interviews during Oasis..what could have been?

But isn't that true of every Oasis/Gallagher brother release. The difference this time is that he is front and center as LIAM GALLAGHER, not Beady Eye. People know his name. Can get behind that and that is the renewed interest along with better material. Outside of that its the normal dog and pony show in terms of media.

It's crazy when you think about how little money there is in actually making music nowadays.

I've been saying this for months, but I don't think there's a chance in hell that he won't make #1.
Nearly 6 months of pre-orders, I'm expecting 80k.
