UK album charts 27/4 Noel #82 (impressive climb) I'd have been surprised if Noel's current UK tour hadn't cranked the sales up.

72 this week so still hanging in there. Needs to stall in the lower half of the top 100 for a few more weeks until he flies back home to open for the Stones & then his massive UK gigs will boost "As you were" back up the charts.

Arctic Monkeys have stolen As You Were vinyl record this week. Their new album sold 24,500 units only on vinyl vs 16,500 units sold by Liam.
But, first week Liam sales are still impressive. AYW sold 102,500 and new Arctic monkeys album has sold "only" 86,000 this week across all formats.

Liam, Noel & Oasis get a nice rise in the charts following the BBC gigs.
Who Built The Moon - 34 As You Were - 37 WTSMG - 44 DM - 74 Time Flies - 22
Also it's HMV vinyl week starting 8th so As You Were should pick up some further healthy sales then.

even if the promo and everything about AYW seems perfect, when it comes to sinles i see so many lost chances for something better. first it was "For What Its Worth" with no physical release, losing the chance for better sales n a better place in the chart. Then the WTF release of Parer crown. I suppose it wasnt a single at all, with a video that for so many days nobody could watch it cause it was unlisted!!! Definitely one of the strongest track of the album that with the right promo could easily make it in the charts. also "i v all i need" limited release..which was a limited release with limited impact in the charts even if it could also make it in the top 100.
now Liam with AYW is a big name at least in UK and his releases deserve something more than a limited release or only download release. Give both. and put something extra as a b side.
