Like it or not, beady eye had a few great-superb moments (a lot imo) and I d love Liam to add one song in his set list, at least when Liam play his own gigs (not festivals) with his own die hard-BE-oasis fans.
FOTF, FLW would definitely be a highlight in his own gigs with fans singing loudmy every fucking word of these great tunes and pay justice to BE.

BE songs went down like lead balloon compared to Oasis ones at BE gigs, they'd go down even worse at Liam Gallagher gigs. There'd be about three people in the crowd, probably from this forum, going "Oooh fuck yeah mate, Wigwam" and the rest of the poor c*nts in there wondering what the fuck this shit is and why he's not playing Supersonic. Never got the love for Flick of the Finger either: "Woke up this morning, I was laid out flat on the dark side With the moon and the room on the wrong side I took a needle, sewn myself right back at the seams I saw my universal gleam I see the wonder of life and look for the wall" The lyrics make me cringe, I don't expect much from lyrics, I don't need them to change my life, but I need to be able to listen to them without being embarrassed, only thing that would make them worse would be if there was something about "The fear" in there...OH WAIT. BE is done, thank Christ, and hopefully never comes back. FLW was a bit of a tune but there are so many better Oasis songs he could play instead that I don't see the point.

Definitely would like to hear some Beady Eye again, but he clearly wants to focus mainly on the new album and just throw some classic Oasis for the fans.

Had Liam completely given up on his BE material and just performing Oasis covers? Think it would be crazy. Now i really liked Beady Eye, had some good songs. But its a new era for Liam, as Beady Eye wasnt a success he wont go back to those. Hes playing the Oasis tunes to keep those fans happy but sadly I dont see him doing any Beady eye songs whatsoever.

Technical question:
Does Liam have to "ask" the current Oasis' catalogue owner/publisher for the permission to use the old songs that are not written by him?

Good question. He apparently asked Noel if he could do Wonderwall at the Olympics so perhaps he has to ?

Anyone who says BE songs didn't do it live has obviously never been to a BE show - because the loud tunes absolutely killed live. So yeah I wish Liam threw in some BE songs, maybe someday he will.

I wouldn't mind Four Letter Word or Sons Of The Stage. Perhaps come onto an instrumental version of Flick Of The Finger rather than Fuckin In The Bushes..

"Flick Of The Finger" is the best song they done, and by quite some distance, and those lyrics are perfectly fine, nothing embarrassing about them at all IMO. Now "Kill For A Dream"s lyrics on the other hand...

The reason is because : this is Liam waking up from a dream that he's still in Beady Eye.

Four Letter Word would be so fucking wrong. it's Andy about his lady, innit? Wigwam would fit nicely, I think

Do you mean perform live? Nobody has to ask anyone's permission to perform any song live, you can cover anything without permission, he could walk on at Glastonbury tomorrow and sing Wannabe by the Spice Girls if he wanted.

Lots of people hate Wigwam, but that song live...just think of that drum solo with Chris swinging away...that time they did it on Letterman...a true spectacle.

Wigwam's one of my favourite post-Oasis Gallagher songs and I'm genuinely afraid of what Liam's current band would do to it.

Sorry, but you have no idea how the music publishing works and you're just plain wrong. Have a look at the excerpt below: "Performing copyrighted songs implicates the copyright owner's exclusive right to publicly perform a work and to authorize others to publicly perform it. Public performances of copyrighted music at live music venues, with limited exceptions, require payment."I was NOT asking whether Liam can perform 'Wannabe', because it's quite obvous that he doesn't own the publishing rights to Spice Girls catalogue. My question was - does somebody know if Liam has any deal that allowes him to play Oasis songs without any external consent.

i d love to add more BE songs in his current UK tour. Some of these songs need new air and a massive crowd with Liam fans. Give "Wigwam" a place and when it comes to "i m coming up" part its gonna blow the whole stadium or "Flick Of The Finger" or "FLW".

Face The Crowd and Iz Rite are better than most of the current tunes (by both brothers) so absolutely they should get an airing. Also I agree about Wigwam, again that one has more depth than anything post-Oasis.

He "covers" Oasis just as much as Noel does

I'd enjoy hearing FOTF, Soul Love, Iz Rite, TRC and KFAD but each to their own.

He actually did Soul Love earlier this year, check youtube.
I quite enjoyed Beady Eye, so I would be glad to see some songs spring out occasionally. Wigwam is a great song and sounded magnificent live.

Liam doesn't need Beady Eye songs. He doesn't need Oasis songs. His solo songs are enough for me.
