I'm actually really curious as to how Plinkett will rate this one. Won't watch the Half in the Bag episode cuz it'll probably give away the rating ha ha!

I love this guy. I'm glad he's still involved in the Star Wars universe, and for something other than the prequels. The hot rumor is they are going to make an Obi-Wan anthology movie to fill in the gap of his activities between Episode III and IV. I think it's a fantastic idea. Great actor underused in the prequels with all that horrible dialogue and CGI. Watch around 1:10 where the interviewer asks McGregor if he's had any conversations with Kathleen Kennedy about an Obi-Wan film...

Hard to make it work in episodes 7 to 9. Stand alone is a sure fire idea.

With some make-up and dyeing his hair to make him look like Alec Guinness, it could work as Force-ghost Obi-Wan. Just look at this! Oh I've seen that photo many times but at the end of the day it's not really Alec and no amount of makeup or hair dye will change that so it'll feel weird to have Ewan for 3 movies, then Alec for 3 movies and then Ewan for another 1-2 all in the same timeline. That doesn't feel organic to me right now.

Im really tired of this expanded universe shit. Prequels, sequels and spin-offs everywhere. I really dont need 20 new stars wars movies.

Picked up my Blu Ray yesterday. Bonus features are cool but I'm a tad disappointed the table read is only 4 minutes long. I'd have watched the entire 2 hour cast read and so would the legions of fans around the globe. Deleted scenes are skimpy, we definitely didn't need any of them. I'm glad they left Maz's potential force abilities out. This way it isn't canon and it frees up screenwriters and directors to take that character in whatever direction necessary. Can't wait for Rogue One and Episode VIII.
Speaking of Rogue One, it's so strange that so little info has leaked regarding that project. We had daily leaks for Force Awakens and have already seen a ton of leaks for Episode VIII but almost nothing for Rogue One outside some costume glimpses and casting news. Bring it!

These films are not being made for you. They're being by the studio for the studio. Cause they want top grade champers for the boardroom, dammit!

Lennon2217, man, you ever seen this? If you're busy (or just can't be arsed), watch from 15 minutes. More surprising that Lucas has made such massive blunders (Prequels and Indy 4) in later years, is that he ever did anything great at all, because holy cow, the guy's a complete a nut!

Don't know who it is they've got in to play that miserable woman from Jedi who does the 'Basil Exposition' bit before the third act on Endor, but blimey, what a masterstroke! She looks and sounds just like her!

Plot twist: they actually get the plans of the death star. They should have done a time travel movie where they cut han solos balls of so kylo ren doesnt happen. Just sayin.

We don't really need a Han Solo movie. The character is already so iconic the best a studio could hope for is to break even with the actors performance. I'd rather explore other avenues in the Star Wars universe. Stealing the Death Star plans was a brilliant idea for the first spinoff movie. I'm luke warm over a Han Solo picture. Obi-Wan standalone also interests me heavily. On the flip side a Boba Fett one does not. That guy is too exploited and partially ruined by Attack of The Clones. A stupid clone kid? Gimme a break. They should have left Boba a complete mystery all around. Now he's boxed in to a certain narrative that sucked.

(In all seriousness, The Matrix was everything that the prequel trilogy should've been. Inspiring, groundbreaking, and a compelling story.)

The only time I've fell asleep in a cinema was in The Force Awakens. And Star Wars used to be my favourite movie series when I was younger.
I was hungover though.
