I'll have to check it out proper then, since it's gotten well praise. Same team from TCW as well I believe, but it was probably the character designs that turned me off at first. Looked abit too cartoony, like the Disney Infinity character models. The main character looks like a generic Alladin. He's honestly the worst part. They made him too Jedi-ish too soon. This series takes place 4-5 years prior to A New Hope. Not sure what is going to happen to the two main jedi characters because they clearly aren't around during Episodes IV - VI. The Rebels could have used those guys to team up with Obi-Wan, Yoda and Luke.

I fucking love the look of Kylo. He looks like a demon, his mask is terrifying

So I just realised it is the first Star Wars movie where the good guy wins in the climactic lightsaber fight in a way that it has no bad consequences, and it's just a "feel-good" moment where you cheer for the good guy. IV: old Ben dies. V: Luke gets his ass kicked. VI: Luke kinda wins but only because he embraced the Dark Side for a short moment. I: Qui-Gon dies, Darth Maul dies, so let's call it even. II: Obi-Wan and Anakin get their asses kicked, Dooku vs Yoda ends with no winner. III: no winner between Yoda and Palpatine, Obi-Wan defeats Anakin/Darth Vader but it's not really a win, is it? VII: Rey wins. Sure, Finn got hurt pretty bad, but he survived. Just a thought I had. But Obi-Wan killed Darth Maul in Phantom Menace. Good guys win. Obi-Wan is probably the 2nd best Jedi Knight of the Old Jedi Order.

Obi-Wan is probably the 2nd best Jedi Knight of the Old Jedi Order. He kills Maul and Leaves Anakin for dead but gets his ass kicked by Dooku(god I hate that name) twice. Plus he's a master ventriloquist. How he makes that noise to scare off the sand people is ridiculous. For the longest time I Just thought it was a sound effect. I never knew it was him until they kept changing it in all the SE's. The main character looks like a generic Alladin. He's honestly the worst part. They made him too Jedi-ish too soon. I need to binge watch them.

I think it has more to do with not enough time to shoot the movie, edit the movie and release it by May 2017. That's insanely fast and ambitious. Outside a few scenes they shot in September, the entire film needs to be filmed. That's not enough time to get a Star Wars movie finished in 15 months. I'm fine with the delay. Better to pull back then rush. That never works out in Hollywood. I'd expect Avatar 2 to change their release date so they don't clash.

Ewan McGregor on his involvement with The Force Awakens.... I love this guy. I'm glad he's still involved in the Star Wars universe, and for something other than the prequels. The hot rumor is they are going to make an Obi-Wan anthology movie to fill in the gap of his activities between Episode III and IV. I think it's a fantastic idea. Great actor underused in the prequels with all that horrible dialogue and CGI.

Great actor underused in the prequels with all that horrible dialogue and CGI. I'd love this. They should've done it instead of a Han Solo or Boba Fett movie. I'm not a fan or a Han Solo or Boba Fett spin off movie for a couple of reasons. 1) Han is such a classic movie character played by a legendary actor. The best a spinoff film can do is break even with the critics. Casting the right person for Han Solo is a near impossible job. If they screw it up it creates chaos of all future Han Solo spinoff films. Plus it's a prequel and we already know everything about him. Learn from the prequels Disney, nobody wants to see younger versions of established screen legends. 2) Boba Fett is a villain. Hard to make him a main character in a film. Plus "Attack of The Clones" spoiled so much of what could have been an amazing back story. I hate that he is some stupid clone. I loved the mystery of the character. I never wanted to see him without the helmet on. Lucas didn't learn from his mistakes of casting a little kid as Boba. Drives me crazy till this very day!!!! Disney's best bet is to make spinoff movies like Rogue One. Sure we heard about the Death Star plan being stolen but we don't know squat about how that was accomplished. So much is left up in the air for interpretation. This is going to be a very fun movie this coming December. That is the type of side Star Wars stories that need to be told.

Let me guess: The good guy wins? Fucking predictable, like. Well the First Order did blow up 5 major planets, the entire senate, the republic fleet and billions and billions of lives were lost including Han Solo. Force Awakens is probably a huge win for the First Order. All the Resistance did was blow up a giant military base, destroy a legion of troops and death weapon.
