Honestly , i do nt think liam has another move , He basically continued on as oasis sans noel and got critically pretty much slammed , he is not a prolific songwriter , he is the voice of the 90 s , but his voice seems to have deserted him , on a day in day out basis , I honestly think musically liam is done , and I think he can sit back in pride he did it all , Unfortunately oasis were not the stones ,they could not put there differences aside long enough to tour every few years , if mick did not have keith he would be in the same position , solo wise nobody wants mick jagger or liam , they want tne stones or oasis Mick was good enough and smart enough to realize this before his relationship with keef deteriorated to the point of no return , sadly it seems liam and noel crossed that line , so to me his next move should be to move on sans music .....
he is a big enough personality to always be a star.....his ot a rock and roll star anymore, more a celebrity

Tend to agree. But a book could net a couple of million. A TV show where he is judging talent a few million (infact that would be freaking amazing - but Noel is the better one for that). He could get some sort of Netflix show going...
I think he will try music again...and I am only half joking about Oasis. He could have Andy, Gem, Bonehead, Alan all on board. And they could tour the world and play 10,000 seat arenas...no new songs...just a greatest hits tour. Trust me - he is being asked about it a lot. And the $$ is likely 10Million ish.

Truth is while I liked BE, I think it was a terrible mistake. Oasis without the songwriter. He should have done something with Johnny Marr or John Squire. A super group - a real one with really superstars (marr, squire, hooky, zak). That would have been a one off - pretty popular and bam - he would be operating from a stronger position.

BE was just fine, but it needed more exposure, better track listing decisions, which is something that has plagued both of the brothers since (What's the Story?) Morning Glory, and less bad luck striking them at every corner. With the backlash from the overbearing retro feel, and the NGHFB album overshadowing DGSS, Beady Eye were fighting an uphill battle. However, I think if they would've included Back After the Break and Off at the Next Exit, instead of Shine a Light and Don't Brother Me (as it turned out to be on the album; the instrumental itself is pretty damn good), they would've shown another side to them that would've shown some hope in the band to the public and maybe kept them going a little longer, but it was hard to do for them, especially with the singles they were putting out and Liam's issues.

NGHFB overshadowing DGSS? DGSS had been out for 8 months when NGHFB came out, so that's nonsense! Of course it did when it came out, but the Beady Eye hype had died a long time before that anyway.

I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite awhile...
God bless.

Not even a year since Beady Eye split and we've already seen a suggestion that Liam should work with David Guetta.
I hadn't realised things had got quite this bad.

Depends on what Liam wants:
Be a big star - MEGA CHANGE NEEDED. Hire professionals
Retro act - call Gem and Andy
Indie cult act - call the dude from TV on the Radio again

I think Liam should get in the studio and work with Richard fearless and death in Vegas to record an album or EP of songs of the same type as Scorpio rising.
If not work with death in Vegas then UNKLE, Liam howlett, Dave sitek or Jeff wootton
He did the retro thing before with beady eye with the names above he could go in a different direction do something more modern sounding and surprise people.

Agree - but but but Liam Howlett is likely off as he is his ex bro in law.
But Fearless would be cool.

Radio host of some music channel. I don't know why, but I reckon that'd be so damn hilarious.

I'd love to see a collaboration album, with one guest producer/singer songwriter on each track. For example
1. Richard Ashcroft 2. UNKLE/James Lavelle 3. Death In Vegas 4. Lee Mavers 5. DJ Shadow 6. Ian Brown 7. Prodigy 8. BRMC 9. Noel Gallagher

The scenario for his comeback could/should/will probably be: He is probably writing a stockpile of half finished songs - these bit-songs will be finished with either one or several professional songwriters - so they are written in the spirit of what it is Liam wants to get across BUT with the goal of doing something that can compete with Noel's sales - that means at the very least really good choruses!
… then a top producer or a new producer for each song: (Dave Sitek, Paul Epworth, Nigel Godrich, Youth, Rick Rubin, Daniel Lanois) will use a lot of time to arrange and get the right sounds maybe with the help of Gem Archer who could be Liams MD (Musical Director). Then maybe a star or two will guest on the album; John Squire on lead guitar on a couple of songs (they have already collaborated before) maybe a duet with - perhaps - Richard Ashcroft (but it has to be a top notch song)... Maybe get Nick McCabe in on a couple of songs?
As far as songwriters go Liam should at least try out Guy Chambers (best known for Robbie Williams "Hit years") according to Wikipedia: "He has been a part of 52 Gold/Platinum certified albums (UK and US) including 15 (UK) number 1 albums, and 22 (UK) Top 10 singles including 18 (UK) number 1 singles."
Now that is the "professional" track record that surpasses even Noel…

Just to throw in another ridicilous suggestion: Robbie Williams The press will have a lot to say about that And both of them would lose their credibility... Oh, I just realised the user above me mentioned Robbie somewhere too. I thought about him before I read that though.

Paul McCartney, Pharrel or Kanye West Sad that those three go fairly comfortably in a sentence these days.
