Some DBTT tracks that really have benefited from the OOPS treatment. Wow! Let There Be Love (Demo)Lennon2217 was definitely right about the demo version of it being better produced. The chimes and mellotron (I believe that is the sound I hear that repeats?) sound very distinct and clear. Also, the instrumentation, especially with the drums, tambourine, and clapping is more clear. Sounds really great and is a hidden gem in the Oasis community. Keep the Dream AliveI know this song isn't liked much, but the OOPSed version needs a listen for all you audiophiles! Around the choruses and Na's, the back vocals are very distinct. Is it Andy or Gem? Also, the second verse has someone's voice like dead on clear, since it eliminates Liam's vocals. Who is it? It is a really ugly falsetto vocal too. Part of the Queue (Sample)Not the whole song, but only when the piano piece comes in and continues till the end. Very nice and clear notes! Great stuff! Pass Me Down the Wine
Last one done is, aside from the LTBL demo, another hidden OOPSing gem. I believe there is a mellotron track that becomes more front, along the 1:30 mark. Just great clear instrumentation all over the track and really well produced. Great stuff I found in it.

I think the backing vocals on the chorus is Noel btw.

Has anybody make one with Angel Child? It's one of my most favourite Oasis songs, yet underrated. Would love to hear oops version of it.

I actually like the It's A Crime version better anyway, but from a production standpoint the DBTT demo is still miles better than the album's for me Probably will try OOPSing the SOTSOG version, see what I can find.

Not exactly an OOPS, but I combined the single audio instrumentation tracks taken from the SACD of Definitely Maybe (Noel's guitar track, Bonehead's track w/ acoustic guitar) and then the backing track with drums and bass alongside Liam's vocals, and combined them to Live Forever. In turn, you get a vastly different and raw version of Live Forever in contrast to the album version. Less reverb, brickwall, overdub, and you can actually hear the bass as well!

Wait... There's a SACD of Definitely Maybe?! No SACD mate, but there is the Rock Star / Guitar Hero multitracks. That's odd, I got them off of YouTube separately from the same poster, and some said it was from a SACD. Apologies, I'll change the name when I get proper access to the track later.

Here's a random one I noticed recently (not Oasis-related). Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire translates to a clean backing track when OOPSed. The lead vocal is removed and the backing vocal highlighted. I've attached a short clip. I think the hard L-R panning on these early stereo mixes make them really good ones to put out of phase. I processed some tracks from Jefferson Airplane's album Surrealistic Pillow and got good results. OOPSing Somebody to Love brings out the backing vocals. White Rabbit is another good one to try. They're inviting suggestions for songs to be included at the following link. So perhaps if there's enough requests they might consider including some more Oasis tracks in the new edition. www.harmonixmusic.com/games/rock-band/request/I wonder why they didn't include the studio version of Supersonic before though - maybe they didn't have access to the multitrack master.

Another random OOPS clip. Olive - You're Not Alone, which was a UK hit in summer 97. I always liked the sound of the original mix, which has a lot of elements that dynamically pan across the stereo field (like the surging string sample, and various synth parts). The clip shows off the cavernous reverb on the vocal, and also how the vocal flips between the mid and side elements of the mix during the chorus. There's a similar effect on Noel's collaboration with the Chemical Brothers, Setting Sun, where his vocal has a different effect added to give emphasis to certain lines. Lock All the Doors
The main highlight of this OOPS track is the really cool sound of the driving piano, and the massive drums at the beginning of Verse 2 that harken back to Bring it on Down. Worth a listen.

In the OOPS version of All Around The World, at the end you can hear the same piano as at the end of Girl In The Dirty Shirt.
