Just got it, and after four listenings it sounds very promising. I like the dark athmosphere of this track. Drums and bass are ace too. Production is very good.

I think it was the eptiome of stupidity to put out a remix first anyway. Now they've got people comparing the 2, pointing out how it should've sounded. For instance, if I didn't hear that piano int he Chem Bros remix, I wouldn't be as disappointed as I am now that it's so low on the mix on the album version. And yes, it's still there...just very low.

“If you won’t save me please don’t waste my time”
What more can a man say, if you ain’t got what it takes to lead, then please get out the way.
As much as an oasis track does you good whenever you hear it. There is nothing like necking a gutfull of stella’s and then listening to it again 20 times in a row on repeat.
Calling out to all that we've ever known.
Thanks Noel.

I've sat and listened to it now with headphones about 7 times the last 24 hours and I like it.
It's a good album track. Classic? No but Id give it a 7-7.5 out of 10.
It will never be skipped in rotation.
Don't care if homohump likes it or not!

First, I should say I love it. Like the post above me, I'd agree in saying it will never be skipped in rotation.
With that said, I think that's bad news for everyone who hated HC. We have a song with an atmospheric/dark sound ("Falling Down"), a Liam-written ballad ("I'm Outta Time"), and two stompers (TSOTL, AGN). So the sounds are quite varied, which is one of the reasons people find fault with HC. HC plays like a best-of album; not a lot of flow to it. I'm curious to see whether or not the band was able to avoid that same trap this time around.
For the record, I think HC is great. Lack of flow, eh. But solid tunes.
