See, this is what happens when there's a void to fill... song title puns! We’re two weeks in with nothing but one press release and we’re already going stir crazy. Next 12 months are going to be wild and I’m mad fer it. 😘

I reckon he’ll skip it this year. Never! Gotta give us a glimpse of potential Noel sung demos for Oasis #8. I’d love to be wrong… but I reckon the next new Oasis song won’t be a demo or a throwaway track. It’ll be Liam sung. Hopefully that comes way before the end of the year. Just got a feeling he’ll skip it again like he did in 2022.

Hope their long-lost black metal song, Turmoil, ends up as a B-side. They play a little bit of that at the start of Slide Away (I think) in one of the alternate versions on the DM reissue…I’m convinced that’s what that is, from Noel’s vocal rendition of what the guitar riff sounded like in one of his Matt Morgan interviews

Digging through those drawers again, picking through what worked, what didn't, what's utter shite. Found an old one from my former band NGHFB called Turmoil. Fucking amazing that was, just never found the right place for it. Anyway, here's a demo of 'If I Had A Gun.' GD"

Brian Cannon has been working with Noel for the DM30 reissue.
Is Noel gonna use him for the new album?
One can only hope.

Brian Cannon has been working with Noel for the DM30 reissue. Is Noel gonna use him for the new album? One can only hope. I think if management doesn't impose any choices, it could be Paul Stacey again (Council Skies). If management somehow forces their hand, I'd at least pray for Greg Kurstin (Squire-Gallagher and the most Oasis-y songs on Liam's albums) or Andrew Watt (not Wyatt). I'm leaning towards Noel and Stacey co-producing it, like it was with CS, though

Brian Cannon is the graphic designer who designed all the album & single art used by Oasis during the 90s, Noel worked with him again for the first time since the 90s to design the cover of the new DM30 release. Supersonic was wondering if Cannon might design the art for a new Oasis LP as well, which would be absolutely mega if so!! That being said, I do agree that it's likely to be Noel & Paul Stacey who will be co-producing the album itself. Stacey has worked with the band in the studio on every release since SOTSOG, so Noel will consider him a safe pair of hands. They produced Chasing Yesterday and Council Skies together as well, both of which were well recieved and sound great in my opinion

I’ve been listening to Council Skies a load this summer and it really sounds great. Noel has albums with better songs but I think it’s his most consistent album and it really flows. It’s a great listening experience.

A new oasis album would be the most hyped Oasis since Be Here Now. That’s if it happens. Even in today’s environment of streaming it would be the most talked about album in years especially in England. I think Noel and Oasis management would realise the scrutiny it’s going to receive. They will spend a fortune on it with no stone unturned. Top producers will be desperate to work on it because big money to be made. Basically what I’m trying to say is it will be a proper producer. No way noel will produce it. Dave Sardy possibly

I reckon Noel would rather play it safe when choosing who produces this album because of all the reasons you stated - if it happens it'll be the most hyped album since BHN and will recieve enormous scrutiny from fans, critics and the public. Under these circumstances I can't really see Noel takkng a chance on a completely new producer, but you never know. I guess time will tell... ⏳
