I think Liam struggled a bit here. Might just be me but he sounded better back in 2022/2023. Here...the power in his voice isn't there
Hopefully, he takes some measures to keep his voice 'fitness' up over the next year and beyond. He's going to need it, especially with the number of concerts that will be in the UK.

Yes, he can do better than this. But come on, it's not shockingly bad.

I suspect he'd had a few for his birthday, watching that video it sounded a bit better than when I heard on the radio. Man the band sound fucking loud with Bonehead there, just a shame Jay can't play.

Liam has always had ups and downs. He has an incredible and tiring solo career. He is 52 years old and has Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. He has had better nights and worse nights in the past. There will be more great moments in the future and more weak moments. That's how it works. It's not 1996 anymore.
PS: I find that in this forum there are a lot of Oasis and Liam haters registered just to poison the air.

Also, this was a 3 song set… maybe he didn’t warm up like he usually does… it is his birthday, and may have celebrated with some bubbly earlier…. Who knows.

Brits 2007 vibes. But will be forgotten with time. Ah it’s nowhere near as bad as Brits 2007!

There’s not a significant difference between the two, in my opinion. If the intent was to highlight a substantial variance, you could’ve chosen something from 2004-2009. As stated many times here, I’m LG over NG in terms of fandom, but his voice was an absolute abomination during the latter Oasis years. There’s not a soul on this forum that wouldn’t have preferred tonight’s performance versus the aforementioned timeframe.

this happened time and time again.. is a shame as fans would've been nice to see a universally acclaimed performance but oasis esp Liam vs the general public .. haters gonna hate and as a fan this aint my first rodeo ..
take rough with smooth as always and will enjoy the build up to live 25 and will enjoy every gig just the same

It's an unremarkable performance but not as bad as I was expecting from the comments on here.

Giving an honest evaluation of an artist doesn’t make you a hater. I didn’t even listen but we don’t need to gild our heroes in gold. They have good and bad days like the rest of us.

He sounds fine? Pretty average for him lately. Not even close to Brits 2007, he was awful there. Again the gigs aren’t until next July, he’s got plenty of time to get it together. Might not care too much about the solo stuff at this point anyway

They have good and bad days like the rest of us. my comment was talking about uk as whole. Social media responses tonight / probs peoples attitude in general since 96 ... obv everyone entitled to their opinion. When something is popular you get hate regardless thus all the "you just spent 600 on oasis tickets and the singer can't sing' type comments from tonight . 100% their opinion good for them sharing it with the world

as others has said it was fine.. but as said before be it, whisky ago go, MTV awards, MTV unplugged, Wembley night 1, brits 07 etc never turn up on these what feel like to us fans Lynch pin gigs could be a what if?? but is what is and as fans do we really care 30 years on think fact Liam (arranged prior to reunion) was booked for a 97K sell out multimillion PPV is pretty amazing regardless ... leading into live 25 .. all good times in oasis fandom

Tonight’s performance is pretty par for the course for Liam post the year 2000. He wasn’t at his best but he wasn’t bad either.
I think what’s a bigger surprise is just how good he sounded at Knebworth in 2022.
