If you ever seen Zak drum at a Who gig you would realise what a good drummer he is. Proper character too. Don’t get me wrong i’m not really bothered it’s as long as noel and liam are there but neither of the Gallaghers have had anything to do with Alan White have they for years? When was the last time he actually drummed at a gig?

It's going to be Terry Kirkbride You may be joking, but I actually hadn't considered him, and yet I really enjoyed the shows he did with Noel and Gem. They were more mild though, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have what it takes. That said, my vote if for Chris Sharrock, we all know he was there in the end, and I think he's great in the HFBs. I have no idea what Alan White has been up to lately myself, so I don't know what his skills are these days but if they guys think he should be there, then I'm fine with him too. Zak is fine, I have nothing against him, but I would prefer Chris or Alan. That said, Zak is on Oasis recordings, while Chris is not. Similarly, I really want Bonehead to be there since he was there from day one, and I like the guy, but I also want Gem and Andy too. In many ways they are more deserving as they actually wrote songs for the band. Not to down on Bonehead. I just feel that Gem and Andy should get their dues. That said, I must prefer Gem as a guitarist, not that Andy isn't good, but if I had to pick just one of the two, it'd be Gem. Ideally, as I've said here before, Liam and Noel are a must, obviously, and my ideal would be them, Bonehead, Gem, Andy, and Chris.

Until I watched a few oasis videos with him and whoever said he was plodding with them was spot on

Whoever looks the coolest and sounds the biggest will get the Drum gig and that's Zak. He stands out physically more than any of the other drummers.

The only aesthetic I need out of a drummer is that they’re sweaty as hell. Otherwise what are they even doing back there 😂

Just saw that a few days ago Steve (Alan White's brother) threw some shade at Noel in a comment on Instagram: Question in his comments: As one of the many Oasis drummers, are you gonna be involved in the reunion Steve? His reply: i don't think so, i generally like to contribute a considered musical opinion which is the opposite of what the "chief " finds acceptable 😊 You can find the comment in this post

When did Steve White played with oasis? 2001 the Brotherly Love tour. Alan had surgery at the time and couldn't play the drums.

Liam, Noel, Gem, Andy, Chris - 100%
Bonehead to guest on a couple of tracks in the encore. Cant imagine Oasis with 3 guitarists. People forget that Gem and Andy were songwriters for 3 albums
Zak would be great to see again as was immense in 2005/2006 and would have been on DOYS tour if not for The Who, but Chris was the last Oasis drummer and long standing member of HFB, so all signs point to him. No chance Alan White will be involved. He's 'THE' oasis drummer in my eyes, but sadly he's not up to speed with gigging nowadays.

While I do agree with others about Zak, technically, to me, his drumming style doesn't fit to Oasis for some reason. For example, the intro of Bring It On Down lacks something.

I would really be shocked if Andy is part of the reunion... He's just released possibly his best album since Going Blank Again with Ride and it would be crazy if he dropped what he's doing to tour with Oasis again as a mere bass player.

With all due respest to Ride, but Oasis are in totally different ballpark.

Whatever the agreement between Noel and Liam is, I would expect there is now space for other projects outside of Oasis built in without the drama it brought previously. Noel will still have HFB if he wants to go back to that. Liam has his LGJS2 still in the pipeline and Andy will be able to do Ride/solo. Everyone involved has other projects in the go now. I know Liam said his solo career was over but I think that's more to do with JS than Oasis.
