It’s gotta be Chris. Nobody else brings the same energy to the band imo

It won’t be Chris, unless something has drastically changed

I'll be extremely disappointed if it isn't Chris. Alan NEVER impressed me - he was ok but was always "just kinda there", imo and Zak Starkey was good but I never thought he particularly fit in, if that makes sense.
Chris is fantastic and has been playing with Liam and Noel in both friggin' Beady Eye and NGHFB just like Gem. If anyone deserves to play it's Chris.
I'd feel so bad for him if he got kicked to the curb for Zak or Alan.

Two drum kits on stage. Chris and Zak take it in turns coming on stage depending on the song, until the encore when they come on together for a 25 minute loud AF version of I Am The Walrus.

Chris has shown more loyalty via his time served. Zak was there earlier but chose to leave for The Who. He looks slightly less like a hobbit but was disloyal.

Zak's drumming in Oasis reminds me (visually speaking) of a pile of squared bricks. Alan's, Chris' and Steve's styles give me more of faster, fluid curved shapes, which fit the Oasis songs much better than Zak's style IMO.

Am I the only one who doesnt give a monkeys ?
When i'm at a gig i'm a bit drunk (not wasted) with my mates, singing my heart out, loving the atmosphere and I can't probably tell the difference between most of the drummers they've had, I wont be there saying to my mates 'hmm not bad but I reckon Whitey would have done a better job with that last drum solo.....'
I'm still over the moon they're back together

If it's a choice between Zak and Chris, it would be a little odd if they went with Zak seeing as Chris still plays with Noel.
You would understand them overlooking Chris for Alan White as he's the longest serving drummer and was there at Oasis's peak, but Zak was only in the band for a few years.

I'm still over the moon they're back together I might have agreed with you if I hadn't been at Glastonbury 2004, believe me, you couldn't not notice how plodding that gig was. And I was down the front right in the mix of it! I didn't notice the first few songs of course in the chaos, but did later when the songs slowed down and it was all so duulll. Not just the drumming of course, everything was off that gig. Very strange one, there didn't seem to be tension as such, they just weren't into it at all, like being at a rehearsal really.

Zak seems to be posting a lot on instagram about it. It’s not him. If it was, he wouldn’t be trying this hard.

Don't have a problem with Zak Starkey but Alan White drummed on the classics didn't he. And he was clearly the best Oasis drummer, bringing a sophisticated touch.
Starkey just represents the Gallagher's Beatles fandom getting the better of them I feel.

Bobby Gillespie on the gram. The fact that Zak also posted this… it feels a bit desperate from him now. Just stay quiet

I just really, realy don’t like Zak’s playing in oasis, especially anything thats faster or needs energy. Alan or Chris would only make sense

Sean Lennon also posted the same photo as shown above in his Insta stories a couple of days ago and he also tagged Oasis as well as Zak
