Sold out on Amazon UK as well. Not sure if it was ever stocked by other retailers. Maybe my guess of 10,000 was too high after all. 2000-5000 sounds more fair?

The original single peaked at number 31 in the UK when it was released. I wonder if it can reach a new peak. Number 31 is selling around 11,000-12,000 copies a week.

Its Oasis folklore than Supersonic got to 31. It would weird for that to change, but quite amazing to peak 30 years after release |

Ordered the 7 inch off Rough Trade tonight , says it’s selling quite fast on there, can’t believe it’s 10 years since the Chasing the Sun campaign and that RSD 12 of Supersonic , bought that one back then , hoping for some nice releases and unheard music for the 30th anniversary of DM.

Ordered the 7 inch off Rough Trade tonight , says it’s selling quite fast on there, can’t believe it’s 10 years since the Chasing the Sun campaign and that RSD 12 of Supersonic , bought that one back then , hoping for some nice releases and unheard music for the 30th anniversary of DM. Maybe if fans stopped buying the same repackaged stuff over and over again then Ignition would instead spend some money on digging up and releasing some previously unheard stuff instead. |

Interesting, Would love that version of Liam on Sad Song to finally see the light of day as it sounded in perfect quality on the Supersonic doc. We are probably going to be disappointed again once it’s announced but at least it sounds something different than the picture disc and coloured LP as normal 👍🏻 |
