Listened to a thousand times already. I played it to my girlfriend and friends and everyone likes the song, especially the chorus part. And I love that chorus too. Check out some of Avril Lavigne’s albums from the mid 2000’s If you love this, you will love them. Lolz Avril Lavigne has some tunes to be fair.

There is at least some punk in his choruses that is better than Ricky Martin choruses

Haven't listened to it since a week. Dont know if thats a good sign. I hadn't heard it since Brits last week...it came on the radio and it still sounded fresh and different. Positive vibes and uplifting my missus commented. Even my 4 Yr old likes it and he's a picky fella!

Quite a claim...
But then some middle class white 'hip' Guardian journalist says its shit, so what do real musicians know?

Quite a claim indeed On a side note: I think The Cribs are the best British bands since about 2000. Consistently good albums now for 18 years. I don’t hear much of The Cribs in this song though, Although Alex Kapranos did produce their 3rd album, so what do I know.

Invisible Sun > Everything’s Electric
Same vibes both songs.

It's growing on me more and more, prior to this one I think this is how I would rate what he has released so far - taking into account how it's aged as well. Think it's probably top 5, maybe 3rd.
1. One Of Us 2. Once 3. Come Back to Me 4. Be Still 5. For What It's Worth 6. Invisible Sun 7. Paper Crown 8. I've All I Need 9. Wall of Glass 10. All You're Dreaming Of

This has come up on my Spotify radio a few times now and I've actually started to like it a bit more. Still not quite as good as Wall of Glass in my opinion but pretty good.

I keep listening to it and it continues to be a better single to me than Wall Of Glass and Shockwave.

Has someone posted this yet? Dave Grohl speaking about the song, starting about minute 10. Interestingly, he says, that it's a song Liam was making with Kurstin, missing a beat and so he only contributed the drum parts. So not a leftover song from Kurstin and the Foo Fighters apparently. So maybe Kurstin wanted to present it to Liam and asked Grohl to do the drums and then sent it to Liam to finalize it? Or Liam is confused? And I love the censorship failure. "He's a fu__star."

Weird that this seems to go against what Liam said happened.

Make this video disappear. Some people may feel bad to hear that Liam contributed to the writing of the song.

So basically Liam made up a story for all the radio interviews. It looks like a Kurstin song sent to Liam and then Dave contributed just with the drum beat

Grohl said: "He was making a song with the producer Greg Kurstin and THEY needed a beat which...." Take away a curiosity ... But do they pay you to discredit Liam? Do they make money if we exclude him from any contributions and mention other guys in his place?
