It's alright. I like it but somehow it feels like it is something that won't leave that much of an impression for me. I can somehow see it grow too but right now it feels a bit weird. Not like he is going out of his comfort zone but something about it does not feel organic and I can't put my finger on it. But I'm glad so many of you enjoy it and I hope it will be successfull anyway, cause the music scene needs Liam.

It's a tune. Anyone who says otherwise shouldn't be on an "Oasis" forum 🤣 It wasn't supposed to be on the album The album was already finished, Dave and Greg wrote this song and asked Liam if he wanted to put it on his new album This song doesn't have anything do to with Oasis. It not written, co-written, produced, co-produced or anything by any member of Oasis. It only has Liam's voice. I mean, listen, we're talking about vocals. Not the song. Not the songwiting. Not the lyrics. We're talking about vocals. Not the song. Not the songs that are the reason why we love Oasis. Not the songwriting. We're talking about vocals, man. I mean how silly is that. And we're talking about vocals. I know that Liam should at least co-write his stuff. I know he is supposed to lead by example in this shitty time for music. I know that vocals are important and I'm not shoving it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything. I know it's important. I do, I honestly do. But we're talking about vocals, man. What are we talking about? Vocals? We're talking about vocals, man? We're talking about vocals. We're talking about his haircut. We ain't talking about the song. We're talking about vocals, man.

It's... a song...
See, I expect oumph from Liam. I expect to go "fuck yeah!". This doesn't have oumph. It's bland, like Keep The Dream Alive. It's got no soul. It's not bad and it's certainly radio-friendly. But, you know when Liam does the hand swing thing when he's impressed (sorry I don't know what that's called)? This wouldn't fit with this song. If this is a representation of what C'mon You Know will be, then I'm worried for the record. If not, then Liam needs to find someone who can choose better first singles for his next record.

After a few more listens, I still think it's a bit formulaic but the most important thing is that now the formula is GOOD: A-list songwriters (even if they are for hire), good treatment of his voice and modern-sounding production.
Not so long ago Liam was singing formulaic songs by C-list songwriters, with not-so-great treatment of his voice and a production which made a point of being retro (I like some BE songs, but many others were abysmal)
7/10, with growth potential. Enjoying it

6,5/10 that could maybe grow to a 7 I hate how it feels like two different tunes and how little they did with the instrumental parts but the verse keeps me somehow invested

At early listens, I'd say a 6/10.
It does what it wants to, on the whole. The riff that starts it off is mega but over time it just starts feeling more and more like a bed for Chris Moyles to speak over, telling you what gigs are going on in Wigan that month. Nowhere near as good as Wall of Glass, better than Shockwave. But my first-listen opinions almost always change on everything, so don't be surprised if you see me calling it shite or amazing in two week's time.

I couldn’t really give it more than a 5. If the guitars were darker and a better key for Liam's voice then it would add a point or two. I've been a massive fan of his first two albums and still look forward to the rest of the album. I've generally been more of a fan of his work with Wyatt than Kurstin.

1. First 10 seconds of the song a rather promising, it makes you feel like there is a big rock stadium song coming.
2. The mellow acoustic break (is that a chorus?) is a little bit out of place. It is a proper let down. It works very well in Wall of Glass, not here.
3. Rhythm and pace are nice, much faster than anything Liam has done in his last two albums. And this is good.
4. Don´t get the lyrics, bit wordy for Liam.
5. The song definitely promises something about the new album, but in itself doesn´t deliver too much.

For me it's better than both Wall Of Glass and Shockwave. It has a better chorus and is more dynamic in structure. Both Shockwave and Wall Of Glass as good as they were did not lead me to listen to them hundreds of times. It's time to hear Liam's voice even on more bluesy and "adventurous" songs than in the past.

I don't like it, but I think it's a guaranteed hit. I'm happy for Liam. He's got a good thing going on for him.

I like it after 6/7 listens today. My first impression was it's streamlined for FM radio, but it works although Liam sounds very nasally.
Good melody, the instrumental parts could be stronger though, but it's a song I'll be playing often in the next days.
7 or 7,5/10.

Really loving this a day after!
Wish the guitar solo at the end lasted a bit longer though, sort of ends just as you're getting a bit excited.
