Yes, you can change your vote if you're using a tablet or phone as I've changed mine before now in certain sections while using my tablet.

The verses are pretty generic to be honest but I do like the chorus. It’s quite euphoric and lifts it to above average for me, along the same lines as ‘Shockwave’
That production though is narrow, compressed, modern radio, crappy mp3 sounding dogshit… as per usual.

I just came across this video and not only do I wish they'd recorded the song in this key anyway but I think it's also safe to say that it'll sound something like this live too This sounds like a seizure. It's absolutely terrible haha 😄 Sounds like a 300kg Elvis on his deathbed

I just came across this video and not only do I wish they'd recorded the song in this key anyway but I think it's also safe to say that it'll sound something like this live too You know what, i can imagine it sounding like this when they sent it Liam. With maybe Grohl's guide vocals. I feel as if it was done in the wrong key too. But push comes to shove i think my main issue with it is still that it just isn't LG at all. However - i do think that 2nd part of the chorus sounded epic tonight on the Brits and it actually made me think if this wasn't a last minute song that was rushed through for the album they probably could have done a lot more to give it the Liam feel i'm talking about. I feel like even though he didn't clearly write much, if any, of Why Me? Why Not? it still had enough of his stamp on it and i can only assume that's him in the studio being hands on with the direction.

Mods forgive me. But Rock n Roll is alive and well folks. Love Liam, but his new music does sound like it is being written and recorded to be used for commercials and adverts.
Meanwhile, the US based band Spoon, has created a banger of a tune:
The Hardest Cut.
Imagine this was Liam's new single, how amazed would we all be? It's fun to ponder. I've always noticed an uncanny similarity between the lead singer of Spoon's raspy voice and Liam.
Anyway, back to everything's electric .....

Yeah if they were going to use it then they should have rerecorded the music with his band imo. I'm still struggling to like the song and actually thought Liam did a good job with ridiculously tough material last night.

I think in terms of what we get from Kurstin, they'll always be a ceiling in terms of quality and generic-ness for want of a better made up term 😂
Wall Of Glass is brilliant but there's a lot of issues with it that I think spending longer on would have sorted. Like the guitar solo and ending being nowhere near as gripping as the opening.
But in general these lead songs are all a bit samey and generic without being terrible nor amazing. I feel like if he has a truly great song on his hands he'd use it on an artist with reach in the UK and US and not Liam unfortunately.
Wyatt is a different story. Once was truly the best thing from Liams solo stuff and way way above my expectations for anything from this era. Especially the chorus. It come at a time when I was worried about how rushed production had been (something I worry even more with this cycle) and the fact he churned out a few real gems made me have to eat some humble pie.
I'm very skeptical about this cycle though because I just feel like the formula they're going through of non-liam songs is eventually going to become so detached from what Liam Gallagher is that as a fanbase we'll just see through the illegitimacy of it from an artistic standpoint.

It’s No 16 on today’s Music Week Chart Update. It’s going to be tight to see if it gets Top 20 as there hasn’t been much of a Brits boost for it

He wasn't on any of the adverts (commercials for you yanks) and they didn't once mention he was coming up until the presenter did that cringe impression of him. Then he kind of come and went. Was like he wasn't actually wanted there but they managed to get him a slot. I'm not saying that affects the charts that much, but compare that to him entering as basically a god of Manchester at One Love concert and you can see why that would have such an impact on Wall Of Glass. I mean, the impact for that was insane, it was literally the first time ever a Gallagher related release bounced back up the charts like something 20 year old artists do now.

Yeah, as you say that was all one-time stuff with WOG that bounced it like that – the excitement over Liam’s return along with the emotional impact of One Love. You can’t re-manufacture those circumstances. They’ve done it OK on this, though. The Brits was a good idea on paper. He was the singular act not only from the 90s generation … but pretty much under 35... to appear and probably could have milked that more, but Liam just doesn’t operate that way (much as some think he does.) He did a considerable amount of media as well. The vinyl issue is what it is. The only thing that would have pushed it further is if it were more of a collaboration with Dave Grohl and Grohl did a smattering of PR– or at least tweeted about it on the Foo Fighters account to spread the word beyond Liam's loyal fanbase. Beyond that, the song has to swim on its own, which it has done pretty much. Still doing well for a guitar song...

Let's not forget that WOG and One Love coincided with Liam slagging his brother off on Twitter that reignited the war yet again and this time it made it to the headlines and people (re-)discovered the Gallaghers. I remember all those "here's the short history of the feud" articles coming out. Shockwave and Once also did decently because they were released at the height of the brothers' another feud, this time involving Sara and Anais and the drama around releasing As I Was... As much as I hate to admit it, their family issues help sell the records and when they're not in the papers because of them, they're pretty much not in the papers at all. It could have been helped if Liam appeared on the red carpet and gave a ridiculous interview and showed off his stupid hat. Or sprained his ankle on stage like Anne Marie Alas.

Awards shows keep declining across the board but the very low ratings are also a sign of people changing how they watch ... because ...

Bought it on iTunes 59p, Love it. Back again with a bang. On par maybe slightly better than Wall of Glass imo. I really disliked the WMWN album, so for me this is like another comeback

Eurovision "rock". 4/10 now. Since somebody said the chorus sounds like Avril Lavigne or something, I just can’t listen to the song without imagine her singing it and it really does sound like something she would sing Lel 😂

A week and a half later and I'm still digging this one. Not his best song or anything but it rocks out enough for me.
