My ideal tracklist would be: 1. Shout It Out 2. Deep Dive 3. Out Of This World 4. One And The Same 5. Would You Mind? 6. Acrobat 7. Thinking On Our Feet 8. Better In The Dark 9. Icarus 10. Darkest Hour 11. Movin' On 12. The Reckoning No Rise ?! One of the top songs on the record ... I mean, there are weaker songs on the album and is an ok opener, but it didn't grab me that much. I love a big phat punch in the face as an album first track, and I felt like I needed a different start, that's why I would've picked Shout It Out as the opener. I must say though, it's growing on me and I'm starting liking it more than Deep Dive

To be fair, the only filler is Daytona actually. Really mediocre, going nowhere. Definitely would replace it with Out of this World.

Haha I noticed that too. Thank god because I wasn’t a fan of the first one at all. I like the album art, I can tell he’s taken a lot of inspiration from LG based on the font etc as well So the album has stuck fully in my head. Good sign..Now need my next fix of Tom at a festival that we can view on the big old TV!!! One side note...i have noticed the severe amount of weight Tom has lost in last 2 years since the headlines from his YouTube videos. Stress probably. The again the music is still ferocious so who cares I guess Yeah I’ve noticed it too, he’s looking very slim compared to a few years ago. Look at Kasabian gigs and he was even a little budgie. You’re probably right about the stress I would have gone to multiple gigs of his if I lived in the UK. Hopefully he follows through with his mention of touring Australia

Daytona sounds like a song sounding in the back of an American Pie movie Yeah it’s the weakest track but I don’t dislike it, definitely should have swapped for Let It Ride or One and the Same I’m still loving the album, been listening to non-stop since it came out. I know it’s still early days, but for me it’s got the potential to be the best thing Tom’s ever been a part of and I’m a Kasabian fan. It’s also great to see all the positivity online

And the fact that is doing good gives me faith that we will listen to another album soon enough

IMO the deluxe tracks are a little weaker and Darkest hour should have made the album. All in all an immense collection for someone who has been out the lime light for a long while.

I'm really sad about the fact it is getting basically no attention in the media or elsewhere. Everyone deserves a second chance and he appears to be really matured since a while. Saw him at Brighton and Shepherds Bush, with that VIP Upgrade. So meeting one of my "heroes" was something special. Lovely lad he is, took a lot of time chatting with us. In terms of stage presence and voice nothing has changed at all, absolutely sublime. Especially at Shepherds Bush, the audience went totally nuts.

Once you get crossed out it stays that way.

How many did it sell? About 200 copies?
Bland. Uninspired. Proper shit music
Can't believe some of his fans support the arrogant woman beater.

Once you get crossed out it stays that way. It's all relative though isn't it? There's levels. I mean, it's worth arguing against when somebody is getting cancelled for airing one dodgy opinion in public. But it's another thing entirely when violently throwing about a women in front of a little girl. That's one thing his blinded fans never talk about, it's all about his partner and how she's forgiven him and it doesn't matter anymore (courtesy of idiots like James Hargreaves) but no consideration for the child, who regardless of the abuser and abused reconciliation, can't possibly comprehend and reflect on these things properly. Very often, it's only until later in life does such trauma become apparent. The impact that has on a kid is terrifying. The scale of the abuse against his partner is enough. He's no better than your typical intimidating loutish thug and he always played up to that pathetic image, so consistent with his behaviour. Rather than folk complaining about the lack of publicity, the bloke should be lucky he got the chance to make his sad sack album in the first place.

Proper shit music Can't believe some of his fans support the arrogant woman beater.I recall when Kasabian sacked him saying they could not condone abuse. Natural and appropriate reaction would be 'fair and justified comment' but majority of them were misogynistic comments claiming poor Tom comes first and that they should have backed their 'troubled' mate. A typical response that sadly goes with the general attitude of their fanbase.

I'm not Tom's biggest fan, but whatever happened it was dealt with by the law and obvs lamestream media has given him the cold shoulder. He lost his band, many fans, and a lot more.
Exceptionally talented musicians are often flawed. Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ozzy Osbourne, John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, even LG have done some very dodgy shit, some of it worse than Tom.
We all fuck up sometimes. We all did/do stupid things, totally out of character when drunk.
I think Kasabian were c*nts over the whole thing and couldn't wait to sack him. Serge is a helmet.
Why should we judge him forever on this one act and never let give him another chance?

Bizarre, the fact you see Serge as a bigger helmet for what he did than what Tom did says everything... That's not what I said, is it? It's general whataboutery though. I think most reasonably minded folk would see Serge as perfectly justified to do what he did. The fact Tom Meighan fans counter accuse Serge and fling greater insults at him than Tom for something that is a no brainer just serves to trivialise the whole thing.

Aside from what Tom did I think Kasabian could've handled it a lot better. Serge is a bellend. Simple. Stop twisting my words.

Is not about a second chance. Some of you think he did something personal to you, while the truth is that the only person that has the right to give that second chance has already married him. I think is no one business but theirs. When we say the album's good, we are not condoning his behaviour, we are saying that the album's good. Ffs take a look at the charts and ask yourself if none of the top 10 worldwide are angels and never done anything wrong or worst than Tom's. What's unfair is saying that everyone that supports this album is supporting domestic abuse. Even Charlie Manson has a beautiful voice and a couple of GREAT songs. And it's Charlie fucking Manson. Are we supposed to wait until they're dead to separate the art and the artist?

At the end of the day, i'm only interested in music. Nuff said, not concerned by all the drama been made around.
Really like the stuff Tom is doing solo, do appreciate The Alchemists Euphoria as well. Obviously love Kasabian.
Thats what i do judge them for - not for all that media sh*t nowadays.
Simple as that.
