It's the same setlist of 2019+hello right? Why no go let it out? Remember that these are festivals, I think he's realised that there are too many non-fans or at the very least casual fans for it to go down as well as he wants it to - after all it's not as if Go Let It Out is one of those songs that everyone knows. Same goes for Fade Away, I think he'll bring them both back either at the Belfast gig or when he goes on a full tour next year

It’s unfair tho these songs are so much better than Stand By Me.. oh well I hope he won’t forget about them when he goes on a tour

Hm, I'm starting to think the reason for why Go let it out hasn't been included in any of the TV coverage is because of the drum sample.

I love his shoutout to Halifax before Stand By Me. For anyone that doesn't know, they're a bank in the UK and this is their current advert

Not even joking here, this might actually be the best version of Live Forever that I've heard. Vocally spot on, tuneful, played in textbook-like manner. The melody is usually off even in the 90s bar the acoustic 94 performance. I'm of the camp that truly believes Liam is singing as well as ever at this moment. He just uses his (more limited) voice much better these days, he actually cares about delivering them on a technical level these days as opposed to just shouting them out his throat.

For anyone that doesn't know, they're a bank in the UK and this is their current advert Its almost never off British tv. 4 or 5 times in the last few months ive heard it come on my parents’ tv during FaceTime calls. Straight away i say “mam, be quiet a sec, i want to hear this!” 😂 When you look at the number of Youtube comments on the official music video thanking Halifax for reminding them of the song, I just think “you poor misguided souls…” The ad actually reminds me of the video in a way, as it follows different people going about their business. And as Brits will know Halifax is also a town not too far from Manchester, so as you say it was kinda funny that he asked if there’s anyone from Halifax.

Another great gig from Liam but those presenters are dreadful. Greedy Soul is always great especially live. Shame that there was no Live Forever though especially as he played it at Reading and Trnsmt. I thought the audience were pretty lame to be honest. According to setlist.com Live Forever was played, although surprisingly not Once or Go Let It Out. It looks like LF was the only song cut from the broadcast. Got a point about the presenters though, several times i was saying “just shut the f**k up and get on with it!”. Audience wise yeah a bit weak, Glasgow seems to have been the best so far, followed by Reading & Leeds Yeah, I've just seen the full set list on Stop Crying Your Heart Out. I'm not sure why Live Forever was cut from the Sky coverage. And, I too was thinking the same about those presenters.

Isle of Wight audio posted on YouTube, listed as recorded from Absolute Radio, but it doesn't sound all that great quality wise, kinda flat. I'm just listening to this version now which I downloaded earlier as well as the Sky one. I don't think that the sound quality is too bad to be honest.

I watched some of IOW but turned it off. Sounded terrible. Really trebly and thin. Drums has no punch or bass to them at all. Not sure if it was just me!?

Maybe if those dreadful presenters didn't talk so much we would've got the full set.

Was at the Isle of Wight and can confirm he definitely played Live Forever! The setlist on setlistfm seems okay. Although it lists Why Me Why Not having snippets of Come Together which I didn't catch, but perhaps it was there. I asked him on Twitter prior to the gig to play Gas Panic or Born on a Different Cloud but what you gonna do. I was near the front row, right behind the kid who got the maracas (cos Liam thought he was wearing a City shirt, lol) - and then the kid who got the tambourine later (I think they might have been brothers) was just to my left and I pushed him within reach of the tambourine donation, his dad was grateful luckily as he was carrying him, but I thought you can't miss that chance.
He was absolutely great, perfect opening headliner for post-lockdown. Watching it back, he wasn't quite at 100% like at TRNSMT where there where no lines cut off for breath, for the first half of the songs there was a few bits of that, but he grew into it and it got better and better. And when you're there you don't notice it. EDIT: C&A does sound pretty rough.
Been abroad for a few years and haven't seen a Gallagher live since 2013 so it was a fantastic reintroduction to how god damn they are are when on form, especially after reading all the rave reviews of Liam's resurrection and obviously listening to his solo stuff over those few years.
Also, he and Tom Jones were dedicating songs to each other which was unexpected, and there was some 70 year old woman in the crowd he dedicated a song to which was a bit odd. But that's Liam. The Halifax dedication before Stand By Me was genuinely funny.
FYI I saw Noasis the following day and they were incredible for a cover band.

Yeah, but maybe the people who own that copyright aren't as bothered as the ones who own the copyright for the Go let it out drum sample.

Hm, I'm starting to think the reason for why Go let it out hasn't been included in any of the TV coverage is because of the drum sample. The Johnny Jenkins sample was already licensed and shouldn't be any issue live, but it does seem there is some legal or personal reason that they don't want it broadcast. A mystery.

I must have been to 30+ Oasis or Gallagher gigs and this went straight into the top 5!. Been saying for a while - these Liam gigs, to me anyway, are so much better than the later Oasis shows.
