Yeh based on the wheels but I just can't see Supergrass getting above him on the bill. I think Weller played a 3rd set a few years ago (around 6:30-7:30 on the Saturday) – can imagine it being the same. (If the entire thing even goes ahead, that is).

Can you tell me next month’s lottery numbers? Thanks. X No need to. We won't be here next month thanks to COVID-19.

Is the Coronavirus in England? In the last 48 hours every major USA music festival, tour and professional sport just shutdown. How can Glastonbury even announce this? Seem so premature.

They'll do their very best to keep it on and rightly so. This thing has been going eight weeks. We're still 16 off from Glasto aren't we?

Well the government today refused to - for now - order the cancellation of large events. That will probably change in the next few weeks but that doesn't definitely mean that it will impact the summer festivals. The plan is to 'delay' the peak of the impact on Britain until late April/early May. There's a lot of panic but at this stage, there's no containing it over here. The virus is already here and 70-80% of the population will get it. Cancelling events isn't going to stop that or slow it down, especially not ones which are over three months away. I obviously won't be surprised if it goes but it's all after the horse has bolted now. Seems a bit different in the states because they're still in the 'contain' phase.

Horrible thought - how many of the older musicians are going to be with us by the end of 2020?

Tough one- they have to keep planning but at this point it's risky to hold the festival- the microclimate at these festivals leads to terrible conditions for people at the best of times, so it could rip through the population of a festival who are then scattered to the four winds.

No one has contained it anywhere. Not expecting any such luck in America. Buckle up. Exaclty. So for me at this stage all the clamour to cancel all these events is hysteria. Not the ones in the coming weeks - totally understand that. But these are months off. The pandemic is here. 8/10 of us will get it I imagine. Most of us will be absolutely fine. I'm lucky that I'm young and healthy, I know. But the horse has bolted. Especially over here. For example, shutting schools for three months (which is what we'll need to do to have any impact of slowing it down via that route) just isn't logistical. The UK gov are trying to delay the peak and spread it out, with the main hit coming in May. That's if these new measures work. If they don't, the peak will be much more severe and will come in the next few weeks (like Italy).

I really don't get the panic with these events so far down the line though.
If these gov measures work (big if I know) the 'peak' will be spread over April, May and possibly early June.
That means it is manageable. It's literally the entire point of what the gov are trying to do.
Italy caught it late. Very late. And had to go through a rapid process.
It's obviously already here to the extent that most people in the Uk will get it at some point but as long as it can be delayed and spread out then the impact shouldn't be enough to derail everyone's life.
Find it so sad that the reaction has to be to cancel stuff.
The festivals/sporting events/gigs etc in the next month, totally understand. But beyond that I think there needs to be some real perspective and a bit of a waiting game.

For anyone worried about catching Covid-19 at gigs, or big events coming up - Take large doses of Vitamin D3 + Liposomal Vitamin C. They both prevent, treat and cure influenza viruses.

Doesn't matter, they are both viruses that lead to pneumonia. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5409678/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23925826www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28768407If more people did research into reliable sources, with actual evidence, instead of following the MSM bullshit of 'just wash your hands and stay at home', more people would be better off.

Large doses of C and D3 are not lethal or harmful. Do some research.
