Lol, why the hell is it weird to bring a 12 year old to a concert? yeah, lol... because a 12 year old is a fucking child, that is still far away from being fully developed. the volume you experience at such a rock gig can cause serious damage to a child's hearing. lol!

too many stupid people in this world. whoever believes that taking a 12 year old to a fucking liam gallagher concert is a good idea and that it's absolutely normal to expose a child so that kind of loudness, shouldn't have children in the first place. i was 14 when i went to oasis for the first time and i had never imagined how loud a rock concert was. my ears literally hurt. and i wasn't even close to the stage, i was in the stands. looking back, i was way too young to attend such a concert unprotected.

Yeah well I'd guess they weren't on the rail at the front. The thought that a 12 year old can't go to a gig is absurd.

I was 14 when I first saw Oasis. My dad took me to see them in Earl's Court 1997. I was in the seats and it was fine, as Tom said, to take them down to the barrier would be daft. But nothing wrong with a teenager going to a gig, just chill at the side/back

When I was a kid my dad took me to a millennium barn dance at Yeovil Aerodrome, hosted by Jet from Gladiators, and my ears were fine, although I would concede that it didn't turn into an all-night rave.

Yea I was thirteen, first gig was Oasis @ Rosemont ‘98. Dad and Uncle took me, 17 yo brother, 14/12 yo cousins. Sat side stage. Same angle as the blessed soul who must’ve snuck his camcorder in to shoot the bootleg video we have of that show.
Totally don’t understand ear protection at rock show. Rockin your audible levels is the whole point

I stood next to the Mixing desk in Munich and they had a db loudness meter thing on the monitors and it was showing >100db for most of the time so it was fucking loud - even in the back of the venue. So I always use ear plugs at gigs to drown out most of the boomy loudness and to hear the vocals a little bit more.

Not his first concert / festival. In this special case, in the seated area no ear protection was needed. In other cases, don´t you worry, we use it! I also take him to the bundesliga as well. There is non higher, to take your kids to the bands that you spent or spend the best times of your live with. And in this case they love it and are mad for it. cheers TU Dad of the year

I hope they are not too disappointed, coming from those big arenas into our - relatively - tiny Gasometer. Good for us, but not for them. At least I read that it's sold out, finally.

So it won't come as a total shock for them.
