Whoa whoa whoa. I don't recall a talking up. More like this forum about to burn to the ground in utter outrage. You're right, a majority of people were outraged, yes. But I do remember quite a few that were praising it as well. I wish I could find the old DGSS review thread. Some of the best comedy reading of all time. I think the reviews were under a thread not called reviews. I'm not sure. |

Nah, it’s just a basic beat done on a drum machine with a bassline that partially rips off David Bowie’s fashion but is not as good. Then there’s the nicked, terrible ‘and it makes me sweat’ line which NG will say is the INXS (🤢) ‘influence’. It’s shite. Can we at least agree 'Porky's II: The Next Day' is the greatest movie sequel ever? God bless. Hmmmm... I’m not so sure about that because that particular accolade goes to The Godfather 2 doesn’t it? I’ll tell you what, if you admit to everyone that reads this that you are in fact Ernie ‘the fastest milkman in the west’ I’ll agree the Porkys 2 sequel thing. Fair? |

I've learned from experience that if you have to explain and rationalize why a song is really good, it usually really isn't. I haven't seen this much talking up of a tune on L4E since the release of Bring The Light. oh my god i couldn't even remember what bring the light sounded like AT ALL until i just looked it up on youtube. i don't think i've heard it in 9 years. ...which is what we'll all be saying about bsd in 9 years... |

I've liked some of the Reflex stuff in the past, but this is just musical masturbation at this point...10 fookin minutes and just stuttering the words over and over? ...come on...anyone can do that at home.
I hope this isn't the trend for the next 2 EPs but you just know it will be....2-3 new songs and then a mountain of remixes.
(Sorry, woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I needed to get this off my chest).

If Holmes isn’t free Noel should definitely consider working with this guy on the next album...

X There's definitely a halfway point between the single version and that remix that could have more life to it without losing the song. But ultimately it's still a turd |
