Hmm, the cynical part of me suggests a RSD release will be the material recorded in the Netflix session. Please. That acoustic version of Broken Arrow was fantastic. (I normally loathe Broken Arrow)

Maybe this could be the "new material" he said he will be playing on his upcoming tour.

I hope this is not High Flying Birds covering Noel Gallagher. Remember, Charlotte has done a cover of Alone on the Rope and Ysee a version of The Right Stuff. Those haven't been released yet, so...

He should release those WBTM leftovers. We know for sure he recorded another song with Marr and there are probably other songs that didn't make it in the album. I believe 'The Dentist' was an unfinished one. 'Daisies' may have been another.

I think that'd be actually beautiful. Those songs are really good and a different female-vocals interpretation would be beautiful.

It will probably be a Remixes EP. And the sixth 12" from the WBTM-cycle. Nearly as dubious as Warner's AYW 7" box set.

Seeing as the May tour almost promises new material, I can't see it just being remixes.

I'm still doubtful, if this is related to RSD its extra unlikely because artists rarely release brand new studio material for RSD, if I'm correct? It would definitely be a first for anyone in the Gallagher camp

It's not very common, but some artist release new material for RSD
I think that it will be an EP with new songs, the ones he recorded lately with the band. And i think it will be a numbered "RSD first release" and one week later it will be released everywhere.

It’s one way to drop material without having to do a huge press/promotional run up. We all know how the Gallagher’s love a good 4-6 month campaign before an album drops. Madness.

I think the title of the EP says it all. Remixes.

In 2010 Blur releases brand new material. Fools Day. First stuff with Graham in almost 10 years. Radiohead also did the same in 2011 with Supercollider and The Butcher. It’s been done.

This was The Reflex reply to me a few months ago on Twitter: Notice he states “remixes” so possible he’s done more than one track. I’ve asked Richard Norris if his remix is on this release. If I get a reply I will put it up.

Oct 18 vs. Jan 19 and he's probably not allowed to spread the news. We'll see..
Question to the diehards: Are there any remixes from the radio shows around the release of WBTM left that remain unreleased?

I'm only really hyped for new stuff with David Holmes, to be honest. Noel benefits massively from a firm push at this stage.
