In addition to grabbing the Noel yesterday, OF COURSE I had to look at what else they had. I picked up one of the two copies remaining of the Flaming Lips, and the day before at the other place I snagged the B.I.G. Mack they were holding for me. I'll admit it, I've bought into the RSD hype and as a result I spent WAY too much. But I can't help it, I will be collecting vinyl and CD's until the day they throw me into my casket. I'm addicted! 😛 I want mine to go in the casket with me. X

And they would need to make sure the records were all standing up perfectly straight, not laying flat. 😉

These are surprisingly good actually. They don't sound so much like remixes as sounding like how the tracks should have sounded on the album. When they released that WBTM preview on youtube this was the kinda stuff I was expecting. I agree. Put it this way. She Taught Me How to Fly is probably in my top 5 all time oasis/Gallagher songs after Champagne Supernova, Columbia, and Acquiesce. However, this remix is so good I don't think I ever want to go back and hear the original. I can also say that if this remix was the original track it would have blown my mind on first listen.

This is how some of the tracks are meant to sound but safe Noel showed up again! Keep on reaching is stevie wonder Motown allover it which is what I think he was trying but production of the original is poor

I actually prefer KOR Remix to the original, sounds great. Love Black & White Sunshine too. Always nice to have some quality remixes

One thing that stands out about these remixes to me is how good Noel's voice sounds, probably his best vocal work.

Wow. The Reflex version of Keep On Reaching is ace! It's up there with the best remixes out. As good as the UNKLE What a life remix i think

I challenge anyone to listen to these remixes and then try to listen to Sunday Morning Call in it's entirety without shutting it off. Good luck.

Eh, not so impressed by these, to be honest. The extended intros and outros are cool, but it feels like the actual songs have been robbed of the main thing that made them exciting in the first place: their energy. The little breakdown in the STMHTF remix is probably my favourite bit - I might edit that plus the intros/outros onto the originals, but I'll leave the bulk of the remixes alone.

I'm not a fan of remixes, but I like these ones. The best one is probably Keep On Reaching, I just love that song in any shape or form.

I didn't even bother listening to these until today - I was expecting more 4 to the floor house bollocks with Noel's vocal on top...VERY pleasantly surprised! Keep on Reaching is WAY better than the album version - in fact, I'd maybe say they all are.
Would LOVE an album that sounds like these from Noely Poley
