I hope it's not as bad as EOTR or Do The Damage.

Serious question: has Mike Bruce ever made anything that wasn’t awful?

It looks like it could be a bit of a tour documentary, and there's definitely a music video.
My bet would be on The Man Who Built The Moon, given previous info about artwork etc.

Looks like one of Noel’s best solo tracks is getting a cheesey cowboy themed video. Make room for the man who built the moon...

I think it's "Black and White Sunshine" that the video is for. The tour photographer liked one of my comments when I guessed what the video was for, she liked it within seconds actually. Then just today I saw Ysee on Instagram, with a photo of her at Joshua Tree and one of the hashtags was "#blackandwhite". Thing is, the photo wasn't exactly in black and white. This is all I could gather, really. I don't know much more.

I think it'd definitely be a better choice for a single than TMWBTM, tbf Personally, there's four single-worthy songs from the album for me (not including Dead In The Water): 1. Holy Mountain 2. It's A Beautiful World 3. She Taught Me How To Fly 4. Black And White Sunshine

Yay. Another guaranteed travesty of a video that nobody will ever watch, making the whole process a total waste of time and money.
TDOYAM, WAL and BOTMI aside, almost every other HFB music video has been an embarrassment. If anything Noels videos actually put people off his music. Can you imagine a teenager flicking through MTV and actually wanting to sit and watch EOTR, Riverman or Dream On in their entirety?
All for the sake of Noel saving a few quid by doing the videos on the cheap. Can't he use his A-list connections like Bradley Cooper to bring in somebody even half competent at their job?
Mike Bruce is the Rob Schneider of the music video director world. A disgrace to the art form.

Obviously not in the same volumes of yesteryear but I can assure you that young people still have an interest in music videos. Whether that be watching MTV or similar music channels. Or watching music videos on youtube. Public interest is still there. The point is that music videos still have the ability to capture large audiences when they are done right and almost every one of Noels videos have fallen short of the mark. Which is a great shame and is basically just because Noel is a cheapskate and wants to save a few quid by hiring someone who is incapable of doing their job properly. For the impact that they have, these HFB videos may as well not exist.

For the impact that they have, these HFB videos may as well not exist. I'm a young person. I know there's still an interest and I wasn't disagreeing with your point. Noel's vids are pretty poor. Most Oasis ones were as well. Liam's aren't much better (Wall Of Glass is good). But MTV isn't the way they get their fix now. It's through clips on twitter feeds and facebook wall's and instagram posts. It's through YouTube. So it's about maximising the exposure as much as it is the quality. But, I don't really think the 'Noel is a cheapskate' argument is the only reason. The guy pumps millions into his album's and tours. And with the target audience he is aiming for, a music video won't have that much effect. Nobody gets excited about a music video anymore - like I used to get excited 10/15 years ago when Green Day or the Arctic Monkeys released one. They just appear online one minute and then they're there forever. Much more important things to focus on (like Noel putting TMWBTM in his set )

I remember watching the EOTR video when it came out and thought it was the coolest thing going. However, I've realised since that it was my love for the song that clouded my judgement. Pure shite.

Was also really excited for a new video until I saw the name Mike Bruce, was really hoping Noel cut ties with him after the awful do the damage video.

Noel Gallagher hates videos, everybody knows that, it's in his FAQ. And correct, nobody cares about videos anymore, not like we did back in the Stone Age. Surely music videos are watched more now than ever before because of YouTube

Maybe I'm getting old m'self (I'm 28), I couldn't care less about music videos these days. My generation even grew up during the Box, TRL days of MTV-Loved them during that early teen phase, but today, I don't pay them much attention. When I listen to a song, I've my own interpretation inside my head, watching a video gives me someone else's...no thanks!

Noel Gallagher hates videos, everybody knows that, it's in his FAQ. For a guy who by his own account hates doing music videos, Noel sure likes using directors who makes him act in his music videos.
