I would imagine that fans want to see Liam for the Oasis songs, not his solo album.
I'm a fairly new fan compared to most of you, but my number one reason for wanting to see Liam is to see Liam. Honestly, at the moment, he could sing show tunes for all I care. But of course it's hard to beat Liam singing Oasis songs and I'm glad he's doing that.
I did not see them during their heyday as I was a poor college kid in the mid/late 90s and they weren't exactly huge in America (though I liked and was familiar with all the hits). But my friend took me to Supersonic last year and I walked out afterwards and immediately proceeded to buy the entire Oasis discography, watched every concert DVD I could get my hands on, and started reading/watching old interviews. I didn't have any pre-conceived notions going in (before the documentary, I had to ask my friend which was which brother) but it became clear to me that the draw (for me) was as much Liam as the songs and I've now seen him four times this summer with three more coming up later in the year and I gotta say I'm enjoying the new material as much as the Oasis stuff. I've even got my teenage goddaughter into it. In fact I've been seeing a lot of college-aged kids enjoying themselves at the shows and I think that bodes well for Liam expanding his audience beyond core Oasis fans.

It's just a vibe. Ever been there? I despise Terminal 5.... have to go all the way to the west side of nowhere... no pre-show bars or anything around there. Going to be freezing by the water too in November but must be done! It is what it is - hahaha. Has the show sold out yet? The walk to and from is going to suck!!!!! So far from Columbus circle subway and too far from Lincoln Tunnel. Like you said all bars and restaurants are a few blocks away. We gotta soldier on I suppose.

all of them are sold out or almost sold out .. I'm going to DC and it's been sold out for weeks ... hell even terminal in NY is sold out .. great to see! Its good to know someone understands my comment. I know its not 100% but for the most part is sold out. Ill be in DC also as long as i can walk by then. The saddest part is its General addition and its seats so you gotta get there way early which isnt norm a big deal but the shape im in thats going to be a big ask. Almost wish we would have set seats for this one because i dont wanna be in the back not seeing anything since i prob wont be standing the whole time. Its so sad really im a mess lol I'd make friends with people in line and someone will prolly save your spot ... there is a bar right next to it you could prolly relax in .. I'll be there prolly 4 hours before ..for Noel I got there 4 hours before and had around 6 rows back ..stood in the pouring rain.. this time it might be snow lol

I'd go see Liam if he was playing in a barn in Sedgefield - or even the Reebok Arena, which I seem to remember being miles away from anything. Mind, I'm from a tinpot town in the north so for anything worth attending I've always had to go well out of me way.

I just got my airplane ticket for the D.C. gig... seeing Liam is as close to an oasis gig that I'll get. I'm not sure if I'll do the same for Noel.. I respect him and am a fan but I'm not enjoying the changes that he's made to the classic oasis songs. I'm still psyched for both Gallagher albums!

Noel is the song writer and the reason you buy oasis albums .. Liam is why you watch them live ... as much as I enjoy Noel live he isn't in the same league .. Liam makes it feel like a rock show ... I'll buy tickets to both but they have different skill sets

When I saw Liam recently here in NYC it was incredible. Hearing him sing Morning Glory the way it used to be sung when I saw Oasis was like wow. Completely different experience to seeing Noel live. At this point, they are two completely different artists and each experience is worth the money in my book.
However, if you are looking for that Classic Oasis energy, sound and feel.....Liam has nailed it.

Toronto show at Rebel (formerly known as sound academy) is sold out four months in advance of the show I can't believe this is sold out already! Dammit I have to buy a ticket for my mum...gonna have to keep a close eye on this one for a ticket drop. There are some resale tickets still available... just a slightly higher price

It’s usually a better bet to meet him before the show rather than after right?

Anyone thinking of trying to catch Liam before soundcheck in Toronto? In answer to my own question I hear that the area where artists enter in Toronto is on lock down so will be tough. Also we think Liam comes a lot later than the rest of the guys so keep that in mind.

I'm jealous. I wish I could be hypnotised to forget Oasis and discover them all over again
