Cross posting..
I'm hoping that he gets a tour bus for the U.S. tour... might give him more rest. They've had lots of issues with cancelled flights. Rough schedule for the next gigs

I just tried to get more tickets for Terminal 5 (NYC) for friends and it appears to be sold out. Assuming it's not a website error, that sucks for my friends but great for Liam!

Thanks, good to know! I just tried for Toronto also as I'm planning to be there for Thanksgiving but that's sold out as well.

philly has been sold out for a while so im glad i got my ticket early. I’m debating on whether or not to head up to boston. Anyone been to the house of blues there? I read some mixed reviews on the venue. Wish the NYC and DC shows weren’t on Monday and Wed. that would have been an easier trip to make. oh well, glad im going to at least one of the shows.

The only things I'm thinking/worried about regarding the Philly show are 1) getting there safely and 2) making sure I don't forget my toothbrush and deodorant. Otherwise, I'm not worried a bit.

The name Liam Gallagher is Big.
All around the world he will sell more tickets than Noel ,only in UK that i think it will be different but things are changing .He did big shows in China,is headliner in one festival in Dubai with 25000 that is already sold out.Japan is sold out.And even in US apart from 2 shows is already sold out.Thing are going better than i could imagine. And the album is not out yet.Great times for him!!

Liam and Noel have about the same name, in terms of exposure. As I remember, Noel isn't allowed in China. Oasis weren't allowed during DOYS because of the free tibet concert he did back in the 90s. In Japan, Liam isn't selling out anywhere that Noel didn't. Noel has done well attended shows in the US for two album campaigns too. When people make these kind of statements, they act like Noel hasn't been selling out gigs around the world since he started his solo career. Outside of maybe the UK, Japan, and a couple European countries, Noel and Liam are both mid size artists. There's a reason Liam was half way down the bill at Lolla. Same for Noel when he played Coachella in 2012. Unless one of them has some world wide chart topper, outside of the UK, they will both play the same kind of venues and be on the same spot times at festivals.

The shine was off of them at that point. Right now, Liam is starting afresh and doesn't have the baggage of "failed" album on him. Also, Liam hasn't played a full gig in New York (or America for that matter) in the last 6 years. So the demand should be there. If it wasn't then he'd be in big trouble. Personally, I think that has a lot to do with it.

Webster was rocking pretty good and it's in awesome part of the city. T5 is isolated off to the west side. No real life to it. Just big warehouses and corporations. No bars. Not close to subways. It's a pain. Plus I dong dig the venue inside. Feels like a giant garage or airplane hanger.

Obviously it's not if he sold it out .. you could argue it was to small more than you can to large at this point. Forget about beady eye .. Liam has the name.

I've posted this on other threads, I really don't think size is why LG or other bands choose Terminal 5.... it makes sense with his band setup... "In New York City, Terminal 5, a 3,000-person venue, has an advantage over similarly sized local theaters. Because it's owned by a local promoter, Bowery Presents, much of the infrastructure — stage hands, lighting, sound, security, things a band would have to pay for elsewhere — is in place. This means, Barger says, bands "can make a higher percentage of the earnings in that one room than in any other room in NYC." So even if your favorite mid-sized band would prefer to play a larger venue, one with different acoustics, or one in a different part of town, Terminal 5 can be difficult to resist." www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2011/04/07/134851302/the-concert-ticket-food-chain-where-your-money-goes

Won't recommend to use Viagogo as they don't have the tickets in hand on their own. You have to deal with the seller in the end which can be a pain in the arse. Loads of non trustworthy fellas there. Me and a mate nearly got screwed when we used that site once. Were asked to collect our tickets from the seller at the venue, got our tickets and went in. Fine. But after we got our tickets another guy who was looking for a cheap ticket at the venue told us that this scumbag had been trying to sell our tickets for a higher price than we paid to other people before we arrived and if he had succeeded then we would have got no tickets, travelled for nothing and end up with just a refund of the price we paid from Viagogo while that scalper went out with a few extra quid. Not cool.
