as its been said, people getting fed up is a result of someone here hyping everyone up months too early then everyone was waiting on each week from about January time for some news and now its got abit disappointing and tiring because nothing has happened. had we not been drawn into a fantasy, we couldnt of even expected anything up until around this time anyway, people just got set up for a load of high expectations that didnt even get close to being met. You are right. But Liam has been a year fucking around with the expectations saying things like Noel fans will have to run and hide after this album. Too much speaking but I haven't seen a thing from the album. Absolutely nothing.

Precisely. Because they have confirming nothing concrete (outside of festival dates), it would be unfair to blame any frustrations related to a supposed single/album "delay" on Liam's camp. Personally, I blame the internet.

Actually, it's the best fookin' debut since Never Mind The Bollocks! No, make that the fookin' Beatles! Actually, it's the best fookin' album since Robert Johnson's. It's the best album of all time! It will invent new genres! It will emancipate people! It will blow minds! Listening to it will immediately increase your IQ by 20 points! You will have epiphanies! Men will grow beards and become gurus. Ladies will get fookin' fair pay. War will be over. This album will stop Brexit and bring world peace and make everyone, even Germans, dress fashionably. In Pretty Green of course. Buy my desert boots, they're fookin' wicked an all."

dont understand where this "delayed" stuff has come from, no-one confirmed anything, and "soon" is not a set timeframe. its not like anyone said "new single on march 27th, tune in!" and they didnt do anything. We also had Denizz say that Dutch radio stations got the promo, around the same time Evans tweeted. And Denizz is a really solid member. I don't see how his contacts in the radio station could say they were receiving the promo for Liam's stuff (that week), and get that wrong. For what i understood, Denizz, who is a reliable source, told us that radio stations were going to receive a promo...but this promo never arrived. It has been pushed back for whatever reason we don´t know. I´m really tired about this misinformation and lack of news...but for the album itself I really have great expectations. I´ve not lost my interest. I think Liam has a great album inside and this is his last opportunity. My intuition is that we are before something big, great albums are always written in low times and Liam has passed one. Maybe this is the boost he needed to show us!

I really want to see what he has to offer. A liam solo album sound too interesting for me. But the wait is just boring me. Theres too much new music this year and if he doesnt release some stuff soon I got the feeling that no one will pay the same attention. Me included.

I believe that everything is going to plan. I was reading an old article from the end of 2016 (I'll see if I can post a link in a bit) in which Liam says he's hoping for the album to be ready by the Summer. So, I reckon the festivals will be bringing him back into the "game" before the album comes out. We might get a single released before but I reckon that'll be it until mid summer.

I wonder if he will play guitar while singing or if he will pay some lads to play the instruments. Kind of disaponting news because Im seeing him in July and I was hoping that the record were out for a long time.

"Should be ready for the summer" is really vague. Does he mean ready for release, or just finished production/tracklists/choosing singles?

I think that at this stage Im going for a september release with the first single possibly being put out just before the festivals then he will throw in a few new songs in the live set and treat the festivals as a touring advert for the new album a which point he will end the festival run at the end of august, release the album then go on with his own tour dates from there. if it does release in its entirety before the start of june I will be both surprised and happy but Im not really expecting it now.

the fact that we're going crazy waiting for an album that might be not good at all is... well, crazy.

I agree with that. With no signs of a solo tour announced yet, i'd say the album might be September or so. He can still do festivals anyway without the album because it's not his audience, it's just a festival audience and most would only be interested in him singing Oasis tunes anyway and maybe a new single or something.

let's be honest, everyone knows it will be shit anyways. 5/10 i'd expect, giving him the oasis fanboi bonus. if he pulls his best lennon impersonation, it might be a solid 6/10.

but in all fairness that was before the whole thing had got far in, he probably hadnt even started recording at that time, just because he he said the summer as the time frame doesnt mean things havnt changed that or warner bros have decided on a new release date.
the summer probably seemed like a long time away in october but maybe things took longer or a new plan was decided upon for the autumn.
Liams statements are never very trustworthy anyway. As its been said, warner bros is releasing this album not Liam, theres a difference between what he wants and expects and what warner brothers think is best.

It's hard work to be a Gallagher brothers' fan... Remember the time when Noel hold up the whole press conference, meeting with fans live on facebook etc. to announce that his record is coming out in the next fucking year ? That was also frustrating. Can't they do it just like the rest of the world for once ?

There is a lot of presuming going on here. Chris Evans said nothing about receiving a promo or saying one was due, what he did say is that his director knew the date that they would be playing the single which for all we know could be discussed months in advance. I think some people are confusing what Dennizz said with Chris Evans' show. Regarding Dennizz, I don't doubt what he said but there could of been some miscommunication their end, we really don't know what's gone on, it's all speculation at this point.
Sadly Bastard made us think something was coming in early Feb so therefore it seems like we've been waiting a hell of a lot longer for something but I think the plan all along was a summer release as mentioned by Liam a few times so it's most likely right on schedule.
