First of all, 'Souvlaki Space Station'. Monster tune!
And then, 'No Longer Making Time' from the new album. First pro-shot recording we get of this track.

Finally I bought my tickets for their Paradiso gig in October. carlober, it was them or Ride for me, but I couldn't let Slowdive go as I'm really loving their new album. October will be a great music and busy month. 4 gigs (Sigur Ros, Slowdive, Mogwai and The National) and Liam's very first solo album!

Saw them at Paradiso last night and they were fantastic, really beautiful. Rachel is such a lovely diva. They played a mix of old and new songs and the last song they played before encore was Syd Barret's Golden Hair with incredible long guitar outro. I'm glad that I went despite this month is a very busy month for me. It was my second gig of the month and still 2 to go.
Their come back album since 20 years is still on top of my favourite 2017 album list.

I agree, Rachel is a goddess.

'Don't Know Why' might be my least favourite song on the album and it's still good.

Reminiscent of Pygmalion

One year later, this one might be my favorite track from the album. It's a perfect blend between Souvlaki and Pygmalion, with a modern touch. I love how the vocals are so hazy and almost indiscernible, except for the chorus "I wanna see it, I wanna feel it". This song is made of the same stuff dreams are made of.

This is my favourite track currently. I kinda "found" it again earlier this year when I was listening to music in bed at night, almost falling asleep, when this track started playing. It felt like a powerful, emotional experience and I finally realised how good it actually is. Especially the intro.

I missed this one. Two songs (Crazy for You and Star Roving) filmed at a Swiss festival last year:

Alison, When the Sun Hits and Sugar for the Pill live from Best Kept Secret festival: Oh, I didn't know they were at BKS. Their come back album was absolute one of the best albums in 2017 and their performance at Paradiso last October didn't disappoint me. I really would love to see them again. Thanks for the link.
