If Liam had written All My People/ All Mankind for Oasis, Noel would have made him call it All My People (All Mankind).

Same exact quotes (regarding Noel) I think what they are referring to is that in the original interview liam says that Molly used to see Noel regularly but things have gone quiet since they were reunited, whereas the sun are reporting it as Molly has ended the relationship with Noel. Two very different scenarios.

Go read the Sunday Times interview, the Sun is twisting things. Wasnt it the Sunday Times where she revealed that? They said he doesnt talk to her now she's started seeing Liam? I can totally believe it too. They're both as childish as each other with shit like that. He probably only had anything to do with her to annoy Liam.

It's sad they see Noel like that and have no relationship with him (and viceversa)

Wasn't Liam seeing Anais still after Oasis split? Seem to remember some pictures of them all together.
Seems like they all seen each other quite a bit more than they let off in the media (to keep the rivalry a bit more genuine) to begin with and then it genuinely become very serious as time went on.
You can even tell in interviews they way they used to talk about each other for a while was quite light hearted. I preferred it like that.

We thought it was bad back then, now look at the state of it. Sad really.

I totally fucking agree with Noel that if the masterplan had been their 3rd album it probably wouldve been totally different for oasis.
its shocking to think about all those songs wasted as B sides.
he is right though that the split has only helped their popularity, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

He came across quite well here.
More relaxed and laid-back.

Only issue being that the b-sides were a significant draw for them. All the singles had multiple, new, good songs that they would play live

If you took the best songs from BHN and mixed them up with the best songs from the masterplan, you probably wouldve had something that couldve gone some way to living up to the hype.
I can understand Noels frustration that he had enough songs there for 3 high quality albums and then ended up wasting a good chunk as B sides. If Noel knew then what he knows now, its almost certain he wouldnt of used songs like rockin chair as B sides. He wouldve spread his best work out more.
Noel's songwriting talent of the 90s clearly didnt last (he couldnt of known that of course). As he said, be here now was pretty much the moment where he started losing it. As much as I love BHN, its pretty clear that the quality of the songs was finally starting to slip. There is obviously other factors like releasing BHN too soon after WTSMG etc. They probably shouldve gone away after knebworth.

I hope he's resting his voice up well for Glastonbury. yeah I hope so, somewhat doubtful though considering hes had at least two gigs in the last week with another booked for tonight I believe.
will be a real shame if he ends up sounding rough considering his placement at glastonbury, he will get a lot of coverage.

You seem really hung up on commercial success. I'd question whether Liam or Oasis need or needed to be any bigger than they are or were.
