Some of y'all underrating Wall of Glass so hard it's criminal. Yeah, I don't get it either. Wall of Glass is pretty much the perfect Liam solo song to me. People say that it lacks a chorus but I think those dance-y guitar breakdowns, with the "oooohhh" vocals and pulsing bass, is so much cooler than a more standard chorus like the one on Shockwave. Honestly, you could make a drinking game for the amount of times a new song is released and someone says, "I think it's just missing a proper chorus" or a "proper solo," when there are other ways for a song to sound great. In any case, ya don't need a chorus when you have a million hooks flying at you. I think that's why I love a song like Holy Mountain so much, much in the same way I like Wall of Glass: All of Holy Mountain and Wall of Glass are basically an assortment of catchy hooks layered on top of each other. |

His band though.... I'm sorry to say that, but you would expect that at Warner Bros someone will recognize a chance of improvement there. They sound like an amateur cover band at times. They're all taking the simplest routes. Sometimes it feels like they're not even listening to each because holy hell, do they leave a ton space between each other's notes. Like, you can hear the drums and bass aren't even playing off of each other. They're just going through the easiest motions. Also, and maybe it's a different listening perspective in the crowd, but if the band is gonna do backing vocals on Lyla, the backing has to be a higher register. It just doesn't harmonize as well to be singing in the same register as Liam. |

Not sure how much rehersal they have had, I know that the drummer Dan put in IG they were back mid May but Drew has been playing gigs around Europe until last week so they can't have had that much time all together.

Especially with Dan, the drummer, they recorded the demos for the first album together etc. I'm sure those guys are a tight unit and a great company to Liam, but musically he's getting to a level where this kind of musicianship is just not enough... |

 Hope I look that well at 46. Yeah he’s looked great through most his 40’s with the right hair length. But I have a feeling when he hits his 50’s all that coke and booze is going to catch up with him, just like it did to Paul Weller and he’ll rapidly age |

Seeing Liam pop up on an 'Indie Hotlist' on YouTube feels completely wrong. Like he's some 19 year-old just starting out in the biz or something. I guess, in fairness, outside of the U.K. and few other select areas he is in a way.

When I first heard I’ve All I Need on the first few months of playing the LP, I just thought was ok but now a year or so later I fucking love that song. |
