Columbia would be the most danceable I guess. Indeed, reflecting its acid house origins... NG: “When we started, we didn’t have a lot of songs so we would jam out current Acid House favourites and fuck about. Columbia derived from one of those nights.” Columbia is a proper tune. It just relentlessly chugs on. I absolutely love it.

Beady’s Here Now I'm presuming that this must have been one of the favourite tracks Noel was referring to in that quote from the Definitely Maybe reissue sleeve notes, as Tortuga was released in 1991 and has the same chords and melody as Columbia. I guess it's something they heard at the Hacienda! Kinda fits in with the cover they did of Cartouche - Feel the Groove around the same time.

Setting Sun - The Chemical Brothers This might be cheating a bit, but it is an Oasis (Noel) tune. And I know it got tons of club play in the 90's. . That is cheating but I would be pleased as punch to hear that. 'Shoot down' with the Prodigy would be incredible too.

Yeah fair enough but say you ended up in one I dunno maybe politely attending a stag night or something, what oasis song would you personally be most relieved to hear amongst the typical tripe. Oh right, OK, I didn't read your post properly. Probably Supersonic. That's song's so remarkably well produced it sounds brilliant any way you listen to it, but it sounds especially brilliant loud through good speakers. Blaring out of numerous speakers, in a club, I imagine it'd be pretty special indeed. Sorry to disappoint you but just couple of months ago I was in a Britpop themed night out where they played Supersonic... You just can't dance to it. But I admit that it surely is made to be played on big speakers! I'd choose Fuckin' in the Bushes, The Hindu Times or The Prodigy mix of Falling Down. Or maybe Primal Scream's remix of The Shock of the Lightning if you're in that kind of a nightclub!

I heard this in a club many years ago. A 1997 big beat track that briefly adapts the melody of Wonderwall. Apparently this sample didn't go down too well with Sony, hence its absence from the final release.

Little James is always a guaranteed floor-filler.

When I was a student, the student nights I used to go to the most played Oasis tunes were DLBIA and Supersonic.
It was always a great feeling.
Excluding Indie nights which I don't exactly go to that often, I can't say i hear Oasis played much in standard clubs.
But at aged 27 now, I've sort of got sick of clubs now tbh. And only rarely venture into them as the last stop at the end of the night and by that time I'm too pissed to care.

i tend to get pretty emotional after a few cocktails, so hearing something like put your money where your mouth is or the nature of reality while im clubbin' would make me punch the air.

The only Oasis song I have ever heard in a nightclub was Supersonic. It went down a treat.

She's Electric got played in Maggie May's and Firewater the last couple of times I've been in each club.
Gets the lassies up dancing which is never a bad thing!

Urban Cookie Collective had a go in 1996... I love a bit of d'n'b but that's pretty terrible!

Just got back from an indie club night where they played Live Forever (worked well, got people singing) and Stay Young (not so well, no one got into it, I think the DJ cut it off around halfway...). Stuff by Blur, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Primal Scream went down a lot better in comparison (Song 2 followed straight after by Rocks was quality, but the less said about Mika the better.... )
