Not a massive fan of nightclubs (not least the ones I end up in with my mates) because I have to be incredibly drunk to enjoy the music on any level but ''Wonderwall' is often bunged in the mix for people to sing along. It makes sense why because everyone knows it but I'd love to hear 'Columbia' on a night out on the tiles. I know indie clubs play delightful music like oasis but say you were in a 'mainstream' charty shite club, what oasis track would you love to be played?

I won't lie to you, nightclubs are not my bag, baby...
But I believe, from what my brother used to tell me, She's Electric used to get a few airings.

Good because you are ... and I'd shoot you with one of Lord Byron's duelling pistols if you did. Needless to say I had the last laugh.

Yeah fair enough but say you ended up in one I dunno maybe politely attending a stag night or something, what oasis song would you personally be most relieved to hear amongst the typical tripe?

Oh right, OK, I didn't read your post properly. Probably Supersonic. That's song's so remarkably well produced it sounds brilliant any way you listen to it, but it sounds especially brilliant loud through good speakers. Blaring out of numerous speakers, in a club, I imagine it'd be pretty special indeed.

It was immense and I couldn't help but mimic Liam's singing stance in celebration.

Are you talking songs as they are on the record or a club remix . Either. I suppose you're asking because some oasis tracks may fit the vibe better if remixed however some remixes might do serious injustice. 'Cigarettes and alcohol' wouldn't desperately require a remix but I suppose 'half the world away 'or 'whatever 'etc might benefit.

Anything from Where the City Meets the Sky would probably be a great choice.

There's a club if you'd like to go. You could meet somebody who really loves you. So you go, and you stand on your own, and you leave on your own. And you go home, and you cry, and you want to die.

The thought of hearing Oasis music in a nightclub makes me a little uncomfortable actually. Sandwiched somewhere between Rihanna's latest and Kesha.
(I'd rather be sat at home by myself with the record player listening to Oasis)
As for the question though...I would think C&A woud go down well.

Remixed (less vocals and remixed to be more dance) Honestly I think no oasis song "out the box" would sound right in that type of club

Indie club nights I've been to in the past played these a lot - Some Might Say, C&A, She's Electric and Supersonic.
Once a place played DLBIA and the whole club stopped and sang along. The video played on the big screen looking epic.
Like the first poster said, I'd like to hear Columbia.

Cigarettes and Alcohol, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova are the only ones I've ever heard in a club.

Setting Sun - The Chemical Brothers
This might be cheating a bit, but it is an Oasis (Noel) tune. And I know it got tons of club play in the 90's.

Not sure what the best one would be but from my experience whenever you ask a DJ to play some Oasis Roll With It or She's Electric is always played.

Columbia would be the most danceable I guess. Indeed, reflecting its acid house origins... NG: “When we started, we didn’t have a lot of songs so we would jam out current Acid House favourites and fuck about. Columbia derived from one of those nights.” (Definitely Maybe reissue sleeve notes)
