Lads, lasses, it's all good as long as they remain a working-class band.
I want them to always be a band that The Guardian has to praise through gritted teeth.

Other than Noel talking about 'Strangeboy' doing the solo, has anyone in the band discussed Roll it Over on record?

Of the final track listing, I'd have probably made that or Where Did It All Go Wrong a single before Sunday Morning Call (while I prefer Gas Panic! to both, I wouldn't call it a single).

Would have been really interesting to see what band Oasis became had Bring It On Down been the first single, instead of the more "poppy" Supersonic.

I was thinking something similar but more general about this song. I was listening to the version of Bring It On Down from Poole 2004 and was thinking about where they'd be if they stuck to a more harder sound.

This mashup isn't too bad. At least shows how great of a singer Lennon was and how great Wonderwall instrumental is.

Why does Be Here Now (the song) sound so much better than the rest of the album? Was it recorded in it's own sessions or something?

Be Here Now sounds so much more pleasing than the rest - the layered guitars, the perfectly mixed drums, the tasteful little bit of space and reverb to Liam's vocals. Sounds great on speakers. Wonder what happened there.

Take me up to the top of the world I wanna see my crime
I don't believe in magic Life is automatic But I don't mind being on my own
Great great line, written by Noel Gallagher
Lyrics and melodie...and what's more? It's one of their B-sides!
This song never gets old. Just brilliant.

Stand By Me is horribly mixed and produced but it's a great tune, such a lovely melody throughout

Here's one for you: the peak of Noel's melodic powers are the bridges across Be Here Now. Every single one, from "I met my maker and I made him cry..." to "Take me away, 'cos I just don't wanna stay!" is utterly superb. The bridge of Stand By Me is one of the most perfect melodies he ever wrote, and the "You've got a feeling lost inside..." bit on The Girl in the Dirty Shirt is fantastic, too. Don't get me started on how perfect My Big Mouth's is, either. Around this town, you've ceased to be...

So yes if i could only listen to one Oasis tune ever again it may be this one.

This song should've been on the album anyway. Your theory applies to other BHN b-sides as well, like "The fame".

I found out that Australia is the country that listens to Oasis the most on Spotify. For Youtube, it's Indonesia.
