Sitting here watching The Who at the Isle of Wight 2004, and remembering that Zak drummed Oasis at Glastonbury that same year. Drumming for two different headlining bands at two different flagship U.K. music festivals is quite a feat.
The Who's set was better. Ha.

I remember him introducing Zak as "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mr. Zak Starkey" at Glasto 2004. I like his drumming for The Healers and The Who, but not with Oasis. I found especially his drumming in "Bring It On Down" lame. It didn't sound right.

Does anyone think there will be anymore re-release/remaster box sets for the later albums?

Mustique demos are a huge release from Oasis camp. same tracklist as the bootleg/cd that was kept from the fans all those years?
DYKWIM, IHITIK and BHN* are MINT
My Sister Lover instead of Magic Pie - works perfectly fine
*it's a shame about the Trip Inside fiasco

I listened to them once, when the BHN remaster released, and was like '...meh'.

The hype around the Mustique demos was never that they were going to be some incredibly amazing new collection of songs that would be filled with exciting new sounds. Nor would they show completely different takes and alternative versions (this is Oasis not Radiohead)
Everyone knew what they were, Noel sung and Noel performed demo’s of Be Here Now era songs. That’s it.
The mystery and legend built up was just of their very existence and the fact so few people had access to them. Contrast that with SOTSOG where Noel did a similar thing but they were all out in the public domain. Heck even the pre DM demos before they were signed were readily available yet a whole disk of songs recorded when Oasis were at their peak, somehow managed to stay hidden for almost 2 decades.
For the record though, I really like them. They offer a great insight into a fantastic period for the band

BTW, when they stopped to play Acquiesce on DOYS tour, was beginning of the end for the band, sadly.

I think the Mustique demos show the longstanding theory that BHN went wrong in the studio as a lie. The songs - in all their guitar layered excess - are more or less fully formed.

I want to live in the universe where Nick McCabe & Andy Bell joined Oasis in 1999 and the band turned into a shoegaze outfit

Can anyone tell the rumour of joining Johnny Marr to Oasis in 2001? Was this possible for real or it's another Daily Fail/The S*n story just for hype? Thinking about Marr, Starkey and both Gallaghers in Oasis makes my mind blowing up. Could Johnny cope with Noel's ego in Oasis? What could've been the sound of Oasis with Marr?

I don't remember any rumours of Johnny Marr joining but I believe he worked with Liam, Andy and Gem on demos for Heathen Chemistry and there was a bit of bitterness at the time about how much credit he was given when the album came out.
