Anyone knows who did the backing vocals in the chorus of The Meaning of Soul? Gem

Russell Brand doing that cover of When I'm 64 is so hilarious. I love Ol' Russ, but I have no idea why he thought that was a good idea. Matt Morgan and Noel taking the piss out of him for it for about two years afterwards, as well! Brilliant.

What if Oasis stopped after 3 albums ? I mean they made such amazing songs and concerts and prestations during those 3 first LP and many singles. What could happen if the Gallagher decided to fight and stop in1999 ?

Everything after WTSMG we should be forever thankful for.

Btw that's so so funny what Noel says about it being 'embarrassing' watching the Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight trying to record a live take.

Too many good songs, and even some good gigs to look back on from Oasis MK II.

I’d like to hear a studio version of “I Am The Walrus”.

If Noel wanted to, an Oasis anthology or rarities could be incredible. He held so much stuff back from the chasing the sun reissues. That has to be by design.

What could happen if the Gallagher decided to fight and stop in1999 ? If they had done so, then Noel would've started his solo career way earlier and possibly even scored some #1s with his solo career; Liam too. Had they stopped fighting in 1999, then SOTSOG would've been a better record with recorded Liam vocals for songs like Full On and Revolution Song, with more fleshed-out songs, being that it wouldn't be just Noel and Strangeboy who was giving a fuck about the record. I think that would've helped them come into the 21st century properly, instead of how they did it in such a half-baked way.

Teotihuacan is criminally underrated. I would happily welcome an album full of instrumentals in the mould of Teotihuacan.

Forgot about GGTIA. Just listened to it for the first time in ages. The sound explosion at the end of the track should have been saved and made the foundations of a new tune.
No one can break us, no one can take us, if they tried. Brilliant.

The explosion just sounds too tacked on and cheesy and would've been better as you recommended.

At that point everyone was sure Liams tunes were just going to keep getting better. Im guessing the explosion type ending is a rip off of something else? Cant imagine it being an original idea

DBTT is such a weird album,
I have great memories of it, I remember bloody loving it, it was a brilliant time to be an Oasis fan but it’s not very good is it??!
Better than HC for sure but that’s about it. Maybe it hasn’t aged well but that’d be odd for an album which sounded retro to begin with
