Could've got Andy for bass but just don't want him there tbh lol. How about as a support act with Ride to reprise the Christmas 1994 bill in Brighton? Failing that solo playing the 'A Quick Peep' riff for 45 minutes....

Can anybody point me in the direction of a playlist someone made from when both DGSS and HFB was released and they called it "Somewhere Inbetween" - 2 disc style playlist of both albums

The entire Jools Hollands 2000 performance is brilliant.

I just had a listen to Born on a Different Cloud. It's quite a good tune. I think it builds nicely from start to finish and is sort of a darker song but one that is Liam in his rawest form, both vocally and lyrically. He delivers the lyrics in a brutally honest way. This is one song where the rough and abrasive, underproduced nature of Heathen Chemistry mixes well with some of the more polished sounds that appear in various parts of the album. I love how the opening sound effect lingers in the background even after the intro as a nice sonic Easter egg. I'd be curious to hear a SOTSOG-ified version of that song.

The Finsbury Park performance of BOADC is incredible - elevates the song to a cousin of Gas Panic.

Guess God Thinks I'm Abel is a tune. Liam should have used that sound explosion as a basis for a separate track - I always found it way out of place as an ending to GGTIA.

I wish the original Falling Down track had the piano interlude from the Chemical Brothers remix.

I wish the original Falling Down track had the piano interlude from the Chemical Brothers remix. Definitely, yes. I remember how exciting it was to hear a Chemical Bros remix of a new song before hearing the original. There was some very creative and exciting promo around DOYS. You can see how it all fell apart after the stage invader incident at V-Fest.

Totally separate. Oasis had deep deep issues that occurred long before DOYS was recorded.

Can anyone maybe just play the string parts of DYKWIM on the keyboard and then bung it on the original? Still wanting a version that combines elements of both versions.

Really my ideal version would be the rethink with a few more guitar layers, but that's probably a lot harder to do.

16 years ago today, I saw Oasis in Lille. Great memories. Seen them a few months earlier in Manchester, but this was a much more intimate setting. I remember Noel wanted to play Wonderwall acoustic, but got all grumpy because the crowd was singing the normal version, where he wanted to go Ryan Adams. So he played Married with children instead. "I don't get paid to hear you sing". www.stopcryingyourheartout.co.uk/2018/11/on-this-day-in-oasis-history_16.html
