Noel as a performer was always a bit shit. His backing vocals in 1994 were shocking. His 1995-1998 DLBIA/Magic Pie ventures were shaky. 2000 - 2002 was his peak. 2003 onwards - his backing vocals were atrocious. I remember being at Oasis gigs thinking "what the fuck is Noel doing?".
Fortunately for him, he's the best songwriter of all time. But as a touring musician/singer, he isn't particularly good at all.

If it weren't for the verses, I Got The Fever would be an absolute Oasis classic up there with the best. That chorus is heaven, and on a b-side as well.

Nine years ago tonight I saw Oasis in Camden, NJ. I asked for a few tickets to see Oasis for my birthday gift that year, and was okay with cheap tickets as I would splurge my own money the next time they toured. Well, Oasis broke up the following year. Lesson being, take the opportunities while you have them because they may not always be there in the future. Still, a mad fer it night was had by all, innit.
