I thought Zak Starkey's drumming on Bring It On Down was bad, but Alan White's was shite too.

Right, for Christmas this year, I’m gifting everyone one of the Gallagher albums. If I like you, you’re getting Noel Gallagher’s Who Built the Moon? And if I like you slightly less, you’re getting Liam Gallagher’s As You Were.
Merry fucking Christmas to all.

When I'm in the mood, Let There Be Love is a 8/10 for me, well, at least the Liam parts, when Noel kicks in it goes back to 5/10, not because of Noel mind you, it's the lyrics, "come on baby blue"? seriously Noel? What the fuck.
So actually it's still because of Noel because he wrote it. Not my problem.

Furthermore, it should have started stripped down and then build into a sweeping majestic epic like SCYHO. But instead, Noel intentionally kept it stripped down (massive mistake) and it turned into the mess it became, with the unnecessary extended outtro being absolutely pointless. So much potential with this that came nowhere near to being realized.

Yeah, they should've scrapped Liam's verse at the end and added another Noel verse, because it goes from just Liam's voice to Noel's voice and instruments and then ear rape strings with almost no melody to just Liam's voice again and then it just ends. Beautiful. I still think they should've changed the lyrics in the Noel part though, they cheapened the song.

The 3:35 Trip Inside (Be Here Now) fake demo.
edit because since this is a discussion i have to discuss what i wrote: i like it, it's like a early instrumental of Stand by Me, the real be here now demo is boring, if i had to choose between the 'fake' demo and the real one, i'd go with the fake one because it's something we'd otherwise never hear.
Now you are wondering why i wrote this, well, it's simply to trigger those who got triggered by it before.
Now you're probably saying "hey alka that's borderline trolling!" and i say to that, in the spirit of christmas, yes it is! doopity doo.

Columbia is one of the understated highlights of Defintely Maybe. It’s about a night out on the piss, the cocaine, and the ecstasy. It continues the semi-concept album of having it large, with a great deal of blissful hope and excitement and promise. The guitar riffs, as the song just chugs a long, are immense as well. It’s everything great about Oasis rolled into one massive fuck off song. And it’s mental live as well - citing the Barrowlands 2001 performance especially. YEAH YEAH FUCKING YEAH..... Flatulence Panic

I don’t know if it’s the MP3 I have but “Step Out” is by far the loudest song I have in my entire iTunes catelogu. It just seems to be blasting at 11 from the get go blowing out my speakers.

For Christmas in 1997 I received Oasis’ third album, ‘Be Here Now.’ It wasn’t just my first Oasis album but also my first ever record I owned. The next day, I purchased a JVC portable CD player with my Christmas money, and had that album on constant repeat.
Twenty years on, Be Here Now is still my favourite Oasis album with its cocaine fueled self-indulgent ridiculousness, and I’m still proper mad fer it. #OasisMemories

Gas Panic from Wembley 2000 is the best live version of this song, IMO. Noel's guitar work and Liam's "panic is on THE WAAAAAAY!!!" took it to another level.

Those two verses of Gas Panic might be Noel’s ever best lyrics. They are legit poetry. That being said, while I do like Gas Panic, I don’t love it like most do on here. It just drags on a bit for me and I find it too psychedelic as Oasis is concerned. Doesn’t even come close to cracking my Oasis top 25.

Remind me again why the Nature of Reality made the cut and this did not. Because Noel was actively sabotaging Oasis and working on his solo career and accompanying narrative.

What happened to your band? What are your future plans? I'm like your biggest fan. Where'd you go, I've been lost without you, it’s crazy. Time moves slow, I ain't seen you on the TV lately.
