For fuck sake, as if this weekend couldn't get any worse Liverpool have decided to recall Danny Ward. Scouse vaginas. Very bad news indeed. It means Aberdeen might recall Danny Rodgers as well. I suspect so, we now only have one senior keeper so I'd imagine we will call him back. I blame Adam Bogdan for being utter shite. |

I also hold him personally responsible for the Conservative majority, the rise of ISIS and the sinking of the Titanic. |

When Klopp sneezes, the whole of Scottish football catches a cold. Not sure if that analogy works but what the hell... The writing was on the wall once Klopp was appointed Liverpool manager - he explicitly stated that he didn't like young players going on loan - that was his rule at Dortmund too.
Shame to see him go from Aberdeen - he was the best keeper in the Premiership this year. Mates in Aberdeen gutted at the news.
Anyway, says it all about Liverpool's goalkeeping situation when their best keeper hasn't even played a single minute for them! It's a comedy double act with Mignolet and Bogdan at the minute.

Absolutely wild first half, proper end to end stuff. Both teams could easily have scored 3 or 4. Last 5 minutes of the half there was a shot cleared off the line, a fantastic double save, and a one on one for both teams. Very entertaining game, would be a great result if we could hold on.

Despite not really playing well that's us now undefeated in 10 in the league with 7 of those being wins, haven't lost since the Celtic game on Halloween.
Big game against Celtic next, need to win to at least keep things interesting otherwise it really is season over.
Side note, absolutely loving the armband on Shinnie, should be captain permanently.

I like Scotland in general and I can absolutely understand the idea of using somewhat unorthodox methods to bring down a rival club - on top of that there's the thing with Henrik Larsson who's currently one of few things keeping our club from hitting rock bottom - but there's still some kind hypocrisy about Celtic fans which I just can't stand. While supporting terrorism and basically the enslavement of British people through a foreign rule religion they always try to look so nice and open wherever they go. It's like most of them can't stand for what they represent and those who stand out, defining themselves as 'ultras' really aren't much on their own. It's like they expect a special treatment for being a minority and everyone around the world to still feel sad about things like Bloody Sunday.
Considering how the balance has become in Scotland not being much fond of Celtic does have an effect on how I view the entire SPL.

Big rumours that we're in for Tansey for £200K, most Dons fans not too happy about the alleged fee. Is he any good matt ? Can't say I've seen much of him apart from when he's played against us and even then I can only remember him for ballooning a pen over the bar when we won the cup... |

He's a very important player for us - our best in my opinion, perhaps doesn't score as much as he should but he's an excellent playmaker. £200k is a decent fee for a club of Caley's side but considering how important he is, it means nothing to us. Selling our best players will see us in a relegation dogfight I fear - look at Dundee Utd for example. As for the Dons, Shinnie's done well at Pittodrie so far so I can't see why Tansey wouldn't be able to make it at Aberdeen. A good addition to the squad. |

Does he have much physical presence in the middle of the park? Something we're crying out for especially with Celtic on Wednesday. Just hope we sign someone, this window has been terrible for us so far. Only signed a reserve keeper and a sub keeper and lost 4 players, two of which were regular/semi-regular starters. |

Don't want to patronise them, but East Kilbride were great against Celtic yesterday. OK it was shooty-in for parts of the game but the defended really well, the big boy at centre-half had a great game. Just shows you what some organisation, motivation and determination can do.
