Haha WTF? That boy is way far too well spoken to be from Dundee! Do you think Utd will go down? I haven't watched them live this year, but are there signs of recovery? Unless Mixu finds about 5 or 6 players in January who can come in and make a difference, we are going down. Even if we get to the play-off we'd get pumped from Hibs, Falkirk or The Rangers est 2012.

He has to do an English test, despite the fact he can speak perfect English and it can't be done until after the Xmas/New Year holidays now. Thon Polish boy we've got in at the minute is a total bombscare, I'd even take Clangers over him any day of the week!

For an expert guide in how to constantly throw away three points in the dying minutes, see Caley. Beyond the joke.

For an expert guide in how to constantly throw away three points in the dying minutes, see Caley. Beyond the joke. Penalty looked extremely harsh from where I was sitting. I managed to miss your penalty completely waiting in the queue for a pie. Started queueing when you scored your first and didn't get back to my seat until after you'd scored the penalty. We were absolutely rotten until about 70 minutes in. McLean (his shot that hit the bar was the best strike I've seen this season, so unlucky), McGinn and Logan were the only ones who got pass marks up until that point. Hayes was awful, nothing was going right for him unfortunately. Jack was fucking hopeless, got totally bullied by Draper the entire game and killed the tempo and momentum of every attack as soon as he got the ball. Goodwillie is murder, every second touch was a tackle. Should have taken on Pawlett for some energy and drive which we were sorely missing. Willie Collum is totally incompetent. Got so many decisions for both teams totally wrong, it was embarrassing. He gave Caley a goal kick when your defender headed it behind then gave us a corner when a corner went straight out the other side without anyone touching it. He also whistled for half and full time when we had a corner. Depressing stuff that he's allegedly Scotland's top referee.

I'm not sure how fit John Hughes has got this Caley side - they seem to crumble in the last 20 minutes constantly and Aberdeen getting back into it was so predictable.

I know Dundee United are bad at the moment but I reckon they'll put 3 or 4 past us in a couple of weeks if we play like we have the last two games. On Saturday against Peterhead, who were 4th and 3 points above us, we lost a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 within the last ten minutes and tonight put in a Van Gaal's Man Utd esque dull performance before conceding from a corner with two minutes to go despite having all 11 men inside the box. Hopefully sooner rather than later our new manager will realise he can't implement a "philosophy" and make league one jobbers brought in to play in a direct team pass the ball out from the back

This is scarily bad stuff here, we're incredibly lucky it's only 1-0 Hearts. Playing like fucking amateurs.

Disappointing to lose today given we played really well and deserved a draw. If United hadn't got that free kick then the game was destined for a replay as neither team could put away the numerous chances created. It was hard to judge the free kick but going by the reaction of the Airdrie players I'm inclined to think it wasn't one but the referee also gave a handball against Airdrie just before United won their free kick which I don't think was handball. If that handball hadn't been given then Airdrie would have been through 3v3 (I think?) although given the way the other chances panned out we'd probably just have missed!
I feel that some Airdrie fans are going a bit over the top with the performance though. We played well, of course, but people are acting like it was our best performance in years yet we still lost to a Dundee United team who, let's be honest, are an absolute gang.

Utterly fucking pathetic performance, deservedly out. Season over in January for the second year running. Hearts were very good I thought, seemed a lot more energetic, and passing wise they were decent. What's happened to Aberdeen - they seemed to lack everything today. Don't get me wrong Hearts did play well but we gave them an unforgivable amount of space, our centre midfield was absolutely non-existent today. Hearts pressed really well and we looked panicky right from the start. Goal was a shambles to give away, Considine was beaten embarrassingly easily for the initial header then Taylor and McLean were total statues as Paterson got a free header to put it away. Considine and Reynolds were just terrible, looked like they'd both been out on the piss. Danny Ward the only one to receive anything remotely close to pass marks today. Rooney is a fantastic poacher but that's about it, doesn't suit the lone striker role as he's not a target man and his hold up isn't great. Basically we're screwed if McGinn and Hayes don't play well as they're our only two who are really capable of creating something out of nothing. No depth on the bench to change it if things aren't going our way, we have no plan B if it isn't working and that's been exposed time and time again this season. We desperately need new centre mids, someone who can dominate the midfield as we're such a soft touch in there. Shinnie puts in a shift but he's then really missed at left back. Jack has massively gone off the boil this season and is crocked for the foreseeable future, Flood injured today too and no idea how long he'll be out for. After such a fantastic start to the season it's pretty depressing it's come to this 5 months later. We've now lost four cup ties in a row. Realistically season is over, not a chance this team will win the league. Every time there's pressure on they crumble spectacularly.

I thought we probably just about deserved to win on our 2nd half performance, we did create quite a lot of chances and your young keeper had a few good saves. But aye, we are pish and will get papped oot in the next round probably.

Yeah I thought we were the better team in the first half but United were clearly improved in the second half and we seemed to run out of ideas in the last 20 minutes. Seems like you might be getting our keeper as United made a bid for him in the lead up to the game.
