What a fucking shambles from Caley, utter utter shite - if odds on favourites for relegation were based on all performances today, Caley would be such a dead cert that it would be pointless putting a bet on. One of the worst performances in the last couple of years. Locke needs to be away by OCT/NOV if things are bleak. Looking forward to that happening and McCulloch/Boyd being given the job. To be fair to them they couldn't be much worse...

Dundee will win the Scottish Cup this season. I think Motherwell will win a cup this season, so if it's to be those two then that would at least be something different!

Get in Kenny McLean ya wee dancer! We were a disgrace in the second half, looked like it was us that had just stepped off a long-haul flight. McLean has obviously been paling about with thon Pallet. Was never of his arse. We are pish.

Was never of his arse. We are pish. Pretty even first half with you guys obviously having the better chance. Bilate is absolutely horse, you better hope Donnie Darko is any use otherwise you'll struggle big time for goals. Totally dominated the second half and deserved the win in the end even if it was a total fluke of a goal. Set piece delivery was beyond appalling, lost count of how many times McLean hit the first man. You're just a shite Wesley Sneijder!

Jackie puts him on up front at half time ahead of Muirhead, then sends him back into midfield when he brought Murray on, utter madness. He'll be gone by the end of September.

League Cup Draw
Ross County v Ayr United Forfar Athletic v Heart of Midlothian Kilmarnock v Berwick Rangers Raith Rovers v Hamilton Academical Queen of the South v Morton Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee Partick Thistle v Falkirk East Fife v Motherwell Hibernian v Stranraer Airdrieonians v Rangers St Mirren v Livingston
I'd rather have had any other draw than that. The only slight positive is that we'll make some money out of it but that's it.

Surely the strongest Aberdeen side in at least 20 years. Looking very good and the future's looking bright too. Are there still plans for a new stadium Gin & Tonic? Is it still proposed for Cove Bay?

Easily the best team of my life time (1994-present), McInnes is the man Stadium is scrapped for the time being. Got voted out by the council and there's absolutely no chance of anything being done while the current nimby's are in charge. Totally backward thinking, vote against anything that could regenerate the city centre. Union Terrace Gardens being the prime example, Ian Wood comes along and offers to fund the majority of the project (up to £50M I think it was), the people voted for a project to go ahead but nope, the council scrap it. They are the sole reason Aberdeen is a total shit hole and complete embarrassment in the city centre and that won't change any time soon. Considering the wealth in the city it's an absolute shambles.

Well I studied there at the uni from 2009-13, and slowly the street started to become deserted with empty shops all around. Even small independent shops like One Music on Belmont Street closed, and then there was the big music shop at the far end of Union Street which closed down a few years ago - I lost count of the number of empty stores on Union Street. I was back there a few months ago for a friends birthday, and even the nightlife seemed a bit more dead. In the time I lived there, the Council did fuck all for the City - only noticeable thing they did - tellingly so - they only scrubbed down Marischal College for their own purposes.

Union Street is a shambles, every 4th or 5th shop is either a pound shop, a bookies or empty.

Aye, which is why I always have a wee wry smile on my face when I hear Dons fans singing all those songs having a go at Dundee. When I was up at Pittodrie last season we walked from the train station, deary me what a shitehole Aberdeen is these days. It is miles behind Dundee now.

Outside of a very small city centre radius Dundee is still a total shit hole, there's massive derelict buildings with smashed windows which look like something out of Chernobyl en route from the train station to Tannadice/Dens. If we're talking strictly city centre Dundee is definitely better though.
