6-2 away at Easter Road... I'll take that thanks very much!
Hibs better for the first half hour then Rangers stepped up well. Some cracking goals too. Still a work in progress but a definite improvement on every single game from the last 3 years. Tavernier looks a cracking player and a peach of a free kick.
Alan Stubbs after the game saying it was "Low priority". Apart from Scott Allan being on the bench that was his first choice team and you can bet if he had won he would've been giving it some. Round you Stubbs, round you my son!!

Aye, Stubbs is a bit of a weapon as well as being an overrated manager. Need to get Houstie in again to tell him to " deal wae it"

What the fuck are Hibs up to? Taking six off that shite? Bottling vaginas. They're Hibs. What do you expect? Two years to the day since their 7-0 Malmo defeat, possibly the most 'Hibs' thing to do is to get absolutely scudded again by an even worse team.

Honestly though, seeing thon The Rangers team today, me and my mates could probably give them a game. Pure smert team.

Very good qualifying group for 2018 World Cup So that means we'll definitely fuck up. Probably do the double over England and lose at home to Malta. As is always the case.

Not an ideal result but will definitely take it considering the way it looked like it was going after 20 minutes. Crucial away goal as well could be key. Delighted for McLean, 2 huge goals in 3 games for him. Hopefully he can really kick on now after a disappointing half season.

Night and day from last week. Not a failure on the pitch tonight with Baird and McHugh striking up a very impressive looking partnership.
David Weir was at the game tonight, possibly scouting Will Vaulks or maybe just watching us for the coming season.

It's looking like he'll be our first choice keeper for the season. I've been impressed with him so far. He's made a couple of great reaction saves and seems to have a good command of his box.

The decision by Gollum has just cost Ross County the treble.

What a fucking shambles from Caley, utter utter shite - if odds on favourites for relegation were based on all performances today, Caley would be such a dead cert that it would be pointless putting a bet on. One of the worst performances in the last couple of years.

One of the worst performances in the last couple of years. Can't be as bad as us though? I put a bet on for Killie top 6 this morning...hahaha First game? Granted but away to dons then home to cellik. Bottom 3 games in and about -10 on GD. Locke needs to be away by OCT/NOV if things are bleak. Killie need to get away from the Jim Jefferies reign (yes he kept us stable but we got horsed by the OF on every occasion). We have had 2 managers since then from his reign as players which teplicate this. Mixu and Kenny Shiels had nothing to do with the club and came in and gave us the best spell in 20 years.

I've yet to see or read about Killie's game in all honesty - but Caley conceded after 3 minutes. Shit start, but you'd expect them to respond with all that time left - they didn't, and in total, we only had I think 2 shots at goal - and I'm not even talking about shots on target!

[br Similar to us. First shot on 65 mins, only managed 3 off target whole game. Dundee had at least 20 shots and controlled the whole game. At least 60% of the ball. Abysmal.

Sounds identical in terms of performance - I think if Motherwell's strikers had a bit more sharpness to them, it would have been an identical scoreline to the Killie game.

I've got high hopes for Dundee this season and reckon Killie will be comfortably bottom two but even I was surprised by today's result. Feeling confident that Dundee to finish top 6 is in most of my antepost bets!
More importantly, we managed to scrape through the cup against league two opposition unlike last week! The draw for the second round is on Monday at 2:30pm.
Seeded Teams: Dundee, Hamilton Academical, Partick Thistle, Ross County, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, St. Mirren, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Rangers, Queen of the South. Unseeded Teams: Falkirk, Raith Rovers, Livingston, Greenock Morton, Stranraer, Forfar Athletic, Airdrieonians, Dunfermline Athletic, Ayr United, East Fife, Berwick Rangers.
Hoping for Motherwell or one of the Edinburgh teams away, or just anywhere that's easy to get to by train midweek. I've seen some of our fans saying they want a home game but I've no idea why, we'll most likely go out anyway so I'd rather it was an away game which seems more exciting than a 1/5 full stadium as we lose 2-0 at home to Hamilton.
