If today's game is anything to go by, Patrick Thistle are in serious danger of relegation. Good to hear!

Why am I feeling so positive about the upcoming season? Just a few weeks ago I was dreading it. We have made what looks like some top signings (excluding McCulloch obv). Boyd 20 goals and Higgenbotham looking top top drawer, a class apart tbh. Lets get back into the top 6 where we belong!!! Higgenbotham is a definite crowd pleaser. Very skilful and exciting.

Higgenbotham is a really skilful player, always seems to be injured though, will be interesting to see how his knees survive on Killie's pitch.

So, @wadfalkirk, we had yer boy Taylor Morgan playing as a trialist today. I'm guessing you think he's as bad as most other Falkirk fans do? Taylor Morgan...where to start. He never scored a goal for us, despite having a number of decent chances. He wan't great at jumping or heading, even though he's about 6'3" and he had the touch of an elephant. He didn't have a lot of pace either but you could never fault him for effort. Part of the reason why our fans never took to him is because his signed was dragged out over the course of several months and he was hyped up a fair bit over that period. I don't think he was good enough for our level but he might score a few in League 1. Don't get your hopes up though! He only went and scored today, though it was against Dalbeattie Star to be fair. I reckon we'll sign him now.

Shock of my life last night, Rangers players were passing the ball, get this, to their own team mates! Was only a friendly against Burnley but was quite impressed with the new style, hopefully it gets better as the season goes on and the players get to know one another.
On another note, Ian "vagina" Black was a trialist for Berwick Rangers last night... He'll be back to painting and decorating sooner than later as the Wee Gers are too good for him.

I'm not sure where I expected Ian Black to go this summer but it certainly wasn't Berwick. I'd read that he was training with Alloa but not sure if that was true. He was quite good before Rangers though wasn't he? I'm struggling to remember past how bad he was in the last few years but I thought he was a decent enough lower premiership hatchet man. Obviously he's regressed a lot since then though.

Obviously he's regressed a lot since then though. I can mind him playing in the Scottish Cup Final against Hibs, Man of the Match and controlled the game, think that was the last good game he played. I was disgusted when we signed him, 2 years previous he had put Jelavic out for over 4 months with a dirty tackle down his achilles, never had anytime for him but that was a shocker. Fast forward to McCoist parading him as a midfield saviour in the third division, should've hung his head in shame signing the chancer. Seven grand a week we wasted on him.... Depressing shite man. Hopefully that never happens again and we've learned our lesson. He belongs in pub football, even the juniors are a class above him.

Just remembered about his betting thing. Some boy. Aye and in one of those games he had Rangers to draw the game while he played and scored! He should've been sacked on the spot but Super Ally backed him up. I don't have a problem with players putting a line on but don't bet on the team you play for and pays your wages. If you can't tell already, I don't like Ian Black!

Well, funny we were talking about Ian Black as apprently at our "Meet the chairman" night tonight he said we tried to sign Black but his wages were too high. Thank fuck for that! Our manager said a few weeks ago he was talking to a player who would excite the fans but nothing came of it, I'm assuming he meant Black and if he did he's definitely have been wrong.

I follow some Falkirk fans on twitter and can't say any of them are particularly cheery, though they're perma-raging seethe merchants either.

Black is garbage. I mind when Brewster was our manager and he was trying to sign half the ICT team, Blabk being one of them. They wouldn't sell to us though as they were so bitter about Brewster leaving them. That was a huge bullet dodged!

I hate Rangers as much as most people but the seethe from Hibs fans over this Scott Allan transfer request is hilarious. People threatening to send their season tickets back if they sell him to Rangers.
Hope Hearts or Dundee United put a bid in soon just to annoy both sets of fans even more.

The bid for Allan was derisory though. We bid more than double that in Janusry and Hibs telt us to beat it.
Would love to see him back at Tannadice, can't see it though. He's a bit of a billy big baws too though so fuck him, hope he goes to The Rangers and Hibs win the league.

Genuinely in love with Graeme Shinnie, can't believe we got him for free. Total class and absolutely strolled both legs against Rijeka.

It got pretty tense when they made it 0-2, genuinely thought we were away to crumble Hibs style. Goodie was excellent last night, probably his best game for us. Had a big hand in the first goal and did brilliantly to put the second on a plate for Hayes. Looks like we're chartering a flight direct from Aberdeen and leaving straight after the game so hopefully shouldn't be as bad as I first thought although will still be tough for the players.
