900K bid from Celtic for Cifti rejected apparently. FFS Deila, you'll be wanting the shirt of my back next. Will be interesting to see what sort of ban Cifti gets if he signs for Celtic compared to what he'd get if he stayed at Tannadice. UTD should be greateful for 900k. He never scored a goal for us, despite having a number of decent chances. He wan't great at jumping or heading, even though he's about 6'3" and he had the touch of an elephant. He didn't have a lot of pace either but you could never fault him for effort. Part of the reason why our fans never took to him is because his signed was dragged out over the course of several months and he was hyped up a fair bit over that period. I don't think he was good enough for our level but he might score a few in League 1. Don't get your hopes up though!  |

He came on as a sub today and will probably play tomorrow if he wasn't really bad today (I wasn't there) so hopefully Bollan sees enough of him to realise we shouldn't sign him. We've got 5 players who can play up front so not sure why we'd need him anyway. The only reason I can think is his height as our only tall striker is Jim Lister who's injured at the moment. |

Why am I feeling so positive about the upcoming season? Just a few weeks ago I was dreading it. We have made what looks like some top signings (excluding McCulloch obv). Boyd 20 goals and Higgenbotham looking top top drawer, a class apart tbh. Lets get back into the top 6 where we belong!!!
