I remember Mohsni trying to fight two of our players and our manager after we played them last season. He had to be dragged away before being sent off in the tunnel. He's an absolute weapon of a man.

Danger, danger! Horses on the pitch! Manchester all over again lol! Seriously? I turned it immediately off after the fight, seems the Motherwell fans surrounded the Rangers area. Pretty bell end behaviour from both sets of fans... but irresistable to watch.

Who thinks Hibs and Rangers are just not quality for the Premiership, or did Hibs merely fuck up? Can't decide - I mean I watched Hibs win at Ibrox back in February (I think..) and thought they looked decent. Dunno what happened to them in the intervening months.

Lee Erwin's interview at the end there was great. "I just tried to shake his hand and wish him all the best" Yeah I'm sure that's true Lee...

I think Motherwell would have beaten Hibs. I posted something similar a few pages ago but I'm still not convinced by Stubbs. He's done a decent job there but they were still some way off Hearts and lost to a really poor Rangers team.

That play-off final was a great end to what has been a great season for Scottish football. Sure, the quality isn't always there compared to some leagues but it's been exciting. Every league still had something to play for going into the last day, most notably the championship where relegation was decided on the last day and league one where both promotion and the relegation play off were decided.
As well as that there's been Inverness winning their first Scottish cup in what was a good final, especially in the 2nd half. The semi final against Celtic was one of the most exciting games I've seen this season.
Even in Europe teams have done well on the whole. Aberdeen and St. Johnstone did really well while Celtic, after a very poor start, progressed to the knockout stages of the Europe League and were perhaps unlucky to lose to Inter. We'll not go into Motherwell.
We've also had the national team playing some good stuff and being at their best since around 2007.
Some people like to criticise Scottish Football and say "oh English football's much better" but there should be more positivity around it. Sometimes it comes across as a bit of a shambles off the field (basically Neil Doncaster) but that doesn't mean it's not good on the field.

I have full confidence that Ronny Deila is way way way better a coach than neanderthal Neil Lennon with very meticulous and sophisticated training and fitness plans. Also, with Aberdeen, McInnes has kind of revolutionised the club structure with sports science which will benefit the whole team, while the youth academy seems to be working really well there. Likewise with Dundee Utd, the reforms in coaching that Craig Levein brought to the club has provided them with a very good youth system which I hope continues, and he is doing the same with Hearts. Quite simply, the lack of money in the sport in Scotland shouldn't be seen as a blight against the game, but rather as an opportunity for clubs who have little money to develop their own top talent, and many clubs are seeing the benefit of this. Also, given the fact we have a coaching school in Largs, it bodes well for more coaches to come in and implement modern methods. This can only benefit the national team, so hopefully in a few years, we aren't scraping around looking for players who's great grandmother's cousin's uncle's father had a Scottish connection.

Yeah I agree with that. Over the last few years we've seen older, perhaps more old fashioned managers phased out and young managers with new ideas coming through which can only be a good thing for the game. Sure, not all of these new managers will work out but they need to be given a chance and that seems to be happening.

Give me Scottish football any day over that soulless, corporate money fest that the Premier League has become.

I think Hibs seriously bottled it in the playoffs because that's just what Hibs do. They always struggle in pressure matches. They completely Hibsed it. They can be a decent side at times but they're clearly not good enough for promotion.

Erwin went up to Moshni to shake his hands, he was told to 'fuck off' so Erwin retaliated by pushing him. And apparently, the full on assault which followed wasn't good enough for Moshni, who waited in the tunnel to try to get to him (but was taken away) AND hung around outside Fir Park waiting for Erwin to emerge.
A complete psychopath. Makes Luis Suarez look a saint.

I hope the police don't get involved in the Moshni rammy. He should get punished by the football authorities but that's it.
Some rebuilding job The Rangers will need to do this summer, think they have about 12 players out of contract?

Hibs have been busy again in the transfer market and have now got Danny Carmichael from Queens. Great signing for them.

Have been spat at, had missiles of various shapes and sizes thrown at me and generally intimitaded by Rangers fans on many occasions over that time. Poor wee things eh, having to listen to Motherwell fans singing "we fucking hate Rangers".

That's them lost Clark (albeit Thomson's a good replacement), Holt, Carmichael, Reilly, McShane, Mitchell and maybe Durnan, Paton and McKenna which is a lot of quality to replace.

Anyone watching the Junior Cup final?
Auchinleck have just scored an absolute peach of a 25 yard volley to go in front.

Superb equaliser from Musselburgh. Beautifully chipped hot from 20 yards out after some great build up.

Anyone watching the Junior Cup final? Auchinleck have just scored an absolute peach of a 25 yard volley to go in front. The juniors are brutal. The team I used to play for used to train on the same astro-turf pitch with a junior team ( we had one half, them the other). We played them in a couple of friendlies. I still have the bruises.
