Love the demo version, better than the original sound check version for sure, but I still prefer the album version. More haunting plus you had the beautiful piano and guitar solo really knocks it out of the park for me. But it is nice to have the demo as it is another great version!

I think lyrically Dying of the Light might be one of his very best work. Agreed, off the top of my head I can't think of a better set of lyrics Noel's written. While the Song Remains the Same is quite good lyrically as well.

The album version is great but I prefer this one actually. Great Talk Tonight-esque riffs and I enjoy the rawness of it.

If there was no reverb, we'd basically have the version we heard in the doc, '...Never Too Late...' TDOTL basically suffered just as badly as the demos from '...Speed of Magic'.
