Dave Sitek: 'Liam Gallagher should get back in the studio with me' Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio has suggested that Liam Gallagher should record solo material with him following the Beady Eye split. Sitek produced Beady Eye's second album 'BE' and spoke to NME about what is next for the former Oasis frontman. "Liam's hilarious, that guy really makes me laugh. And he's super talented," Sitek says. "I remember when he first went up to the microphone, we had no effects and it was just like, 'wow'. He should either have a show or get back in the studio with me and we'll make a couple of tracks for fun." Dave's a good dude. Loved what he did with Beady Eye on "BE". I would highly endorse Sitek producing some Liam tracks in the near future. My dream of a Liam solo album with collaborations might just happen one day.

He talks about Andy Bell says he worked with BDI cos he's a huge Ride fan and loves Andy, says he introduced Andy to Josef Salvat (as they should work together)
Liam should have a show or go back into the studio, with me to do some tracks for fun

Getting past the Lennon fixation "production wise" and make a cool new rock 'n roll record. \m/

We've had BE (which was great) But be better for him to keep moving forward.

A collaboration project with Sitek and Liam? One can only dream.
In fact, that would be the most exciting thing since Oasis split.

If Liam does ever record again, I certainly wouldn't be averse Sitek being the man behind the desk for it

Nothing to say bout Gem? To be fair, Gem's songwriting isn't nearly as good as Liam's. Liam has had a lot of bad days as a songwriter, but at his best he is very impressive and in my opinion far superior to both Gem, and surprisingly, Andy. Some work with Sitek could really make him flourish. Think there's a lot of potential there.

Oh I can't wait till Liam announces his first solo album "Lay Off My Avocado, Baby!" featuring contributions from Serge Pizzorno, Johnny Squire, Pete Townshend, Johnny Marr, Steve Cradock, Dave Sitek, Kevin Parker, Death In Vegas, The Chemical Brothers and Prodigy.

His work with TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and BE, it's really great. If Sitek wants to work with Liam again, I think that's a good thing, because he's pretty respected in the music industry right now.
The problem is, Liam didn't exactly have kind things to say about him after the release of BE. I think he sort of shrugged off the possibility of bringing him back.
I hope Liam and Sitek team up again. An entire Liam album would be great.

Did Liam say a bad word about Sitek after BE flopped? I hope not, cause the album and the prodcution is brilliant!

Sitek can wonders given the proper material. Would totally be okay if they didn't something again. I didn't enjoy BE as a whole but it had moments and Sitek helped Beady Eye have those moments more frequently.
Liam working with Karen O would be cool to see as well.

Liam probably has a few songs hanging about with good potential. And knowing Liam's stuff its probably quite lean and has quite a lot of room for embellishment. Sitek would be great for stuff like that. Working with someone like him would be an exciting move for Liam.
I have a feeling Liam isn't going to be doing much for a while though.
