Wasn't it Noel who once said that the "singer" is always good for a few nananas? Maybe it's a tribute.

my friend, I've just started reading this thread but I'll add a little something right now Noel is in another place right now. Oasis is over. he's finally making Something Else (). do we still expect some ROCK N ROLL songs? I don't. but we are still expecting huge guitars.. havent we learned from HFB 1? seems we havent. Noel's moved on. he put all the Oasis tracks behind (STC, RM, good rebel, etc) I'm well pleased with the single. it's uplifting, it's fresh, it sounds like the very few music I could like in 2014. W solid melodies, strong voice, good lyrics and ok playing. Your 100 percent right my friend , why I stopped posting since yesterday , while all this love crap is being posted im not gonna be voice of disharmony , this is my last word on noel today ...HE WILL NEVER BE YESTERDAYS NEWS TO ME. He's great .....but his music now IS YESTERDAYS NEWS. meaning it sux whstever place HES in i will never be , so I'm done with commenting. Or listening , I'll wait for BDI next , sure I'll be displeased as well whatever place there both in .aint for me so why bother ...final answer. CRAP. lata Oh one last thing to space75gr I love YA. But please Don t call what he's doing music for my generation , over 40. Tome and to others I talked to over 40 including my best friend it blows so please don't say he geared toward us if he did he is way off mark Willie T. Soke underneaththesky I'll be in lounge. , sports til this crap of a LP blows over. Cheers mate U know where to find me in lounge or fb Kalas has thrown a wobbly because of one single hahahaha

Noel's pretty forward thinking with this track I think, not his best, but a good continuation from where he left off. So I'm taking this as the "Some might say" of Morning Glory.

The nananas part is just atrocious, how can you start a song like that? it wouldn't be that bad if it was only sung mid way through the song.
I do enjoy the bells and all those different sounds I don't normally hear in a Gallagher tune however.

After listening to it about 30 times since yesterday I can honestly say that's it's just okay, as someone else has said it's above average. The 'na na na's' are a bit awkward, especially at the start of the song. I really like the verses with that bassline, really cool melody but chorus is a bit meh, expected more I guess. It's definitely inspired by the popularity of 'What a Life!' but I'd imagine that this song is nowhere the best song on the album, hopefully anyway.

Well , I think the new song is a mix of Waiting for the Rapture , What a Life and The Wrong Beach .... so nothing new in the way.
I really hope Noel had some seismic in his album or it wil be something like High Flying Birds 2.0

I gotta say, I really hope the remix drops the nana bit. That could get really out of hand.

In The Heat Of The Monent > Dream On In The Heat Of The Moment >>>>>>>>>> Dream On By a mile. I don't know what it is about Dream On, but it leaves me feeling sick after a listen. Something about it just isn't right.

Imo, all the b-sides/bonus tracks off the last album (apart from Alone On A Rope) are much worse than this, as are Dream On, If I Had A Gun, ...Record Machine and Stop The Clocks from the album. It's a pretty good tune this one, as far as I'm concerned. I do dig.

275k views on YouTube in little over 30 hours That's great n'all, but then you think about Iggy Azelia's song 'Fancy' being on 300 million+ and how the view count for a new One Direction or Rihanna tune would shoot up in comparison, and it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth

275k views on YouTube in little over 30 hours That's really good. AKA What A Life - 1.6m 3 years Dream On - 720k 2 years Everybodys on The Run - 480k 2 years It will definitely do better than EOTR and possibly Dream On, probably within the next 3 months. Don't know about What A Life, but I figure 3 years from now, it's like to have surpassed it.

Why are people so bothered about how well it does? That's Noel's problem not ours!
Sit back and enjoy the music people.

Appalling. Horrific. It's the end of Noel as we knew him and a whole new lease on life for Beady Eye. Thinking about God and going, na na na na na na, might get him some airplay in America but it won't fill the 02 with happy punters in the land of hope and glory. There is no hope here. No glory. Just a fluffer with bad breath and a screenplay she'd like you to look at.
