My Radiohead album list would be;
1. OK Computer 2. The Bends 3. Kid A 4. Amnesiac 5. In Rainbows 6. Hail To The Thief 7. Pablo Honey 8. King of Limbs
I listened to HTTT last night and whilst there are no real stinkers on that album there are too many '6 or 7/10's'. Go To Sleep, We Suck Young Blood, The Gloaming, I Will, Punchup..., Myxomatosis are all decent enough but when they're all on the same record it can get tiresome.
I love the last two tracks on the album, I always forget how good they are. Also love Backdrifts, WIEAYB, There There, 2+2=5 and Sail To The Moon. It really has got some tremendous moments

I guess I'll join in on the fun. Just a brief little synopsis of each one
1. The Bends - 10/10 - One of the best 90's alt. rock albums. It doesn't have the most diverse set of music on it but it arguably has the most personality. Its fun, self conscious, and has some swagger. They obviously moved past this sound but this is when Radiohead became Radiohead. 2. In Rainbows - 9.5/10 - Radiohead's greatest hits album. Every shade of Radiohead is shown and its all great 3. Kid A - 9/10 - their most unified and complete album. A statement record. Not the most playable record but its arguably their finest moment. 4. Ok Computer - 9/10 - The perfect bridge between The Bends/Kid A. A glimpse into 21st century rock n' roll 5. Hail to the Thief - 6.5/10 - An In Rainbows rough draft of sorts. A messy showcase of every side of the band but it has a few outstanding moments 6. Amnesiac - 6/10 - At its best its very pretty and jazzy. At worst it sound incomplete and meandering. 7. The King of Limbs - 6/10 - Short, forgettable but about half of it is completely gorgeous 8. Pablo Honey - 5.5/10 - A couple catchy rock/pop songs but all in all a pretty bland record.

This is a finished version of an old AFP track that was posted on their soundcloud around the time Amok was released. Great to hear the finished version! BTW it's being sold as pay what you want just like In Rainbows. EDIT: Listen to the original, 10 minute version: soundcloud.com/atomsforpeace/you-wouldnt-like-me-when-im

Love the new song - extremely pretty and restores my confident expectations of lp9. I have faith Radiohead will cook up something good. Lord knows they've got two albums worth of material from the last two decades that went unreleased. I hope it's more In Rainbows over King of Limbs but it'll prob be more bleeps over guitars.

Hate to ruin your fun but I think Big Boots will never see the light of day. It wouldn't fit with the post-OK Computer Radiohead at all. However, ancient tunes like Nude, Last Flowers, Up on the Ladder, 4 Minute Warning, and Morning Mr Magpie did show up after all these years, so it may be possible it may appear again. It wouldn't appear in the same form though.

Radiohead is going to have a bitching anthology one day.

Man, I'd forgotten how good this song was! Radiohead needs an anthology more than Oasis does.

Maybe a "unreleased" ep of all the great siongs without a record The Present Tense True Love Waits Ful Stop Cut A Hole Identikit Skirting on the Surface You can Open The Floodgates/Porous to the list. And the beautiful song Lift! Many listeners criticised TKOL for its lack of good tunes and melodies while they still had Floodgates, Skirting on the Surface and The Present Tense up their sleeves. If there's one band I trust to succeed in doing whatever they want to do, it's Radiohead. I for one loved TKOL. Will also be interesting to see which way of non-conventional distribution they'll choose this time for the album.

Maybe a "unreleased" ep of all the great siongs without a record The Present Tense True Love Waits Ful Stop Cut A Hole Identikit Skirting on the Surface I believe Radiohead are leaving "True Love Waits" as a live acoustic rendition. Sorta like what Neil Young did with "My My, Hey Hey" and "Needle and The Damage Done". Their official version are live takes. No studio versions exists. I think I prefer "True Love Waits" gets similar treatment.

The danger is we get too little new stuff but I'm confident that won't happen... Identikit needs to be there it's like Idioteque and 15 Steps sexy daughter, that and Skirting on the Surface are safe bets for lp9...after that I'd be ok with all new stuff but a polished acoustic Present Tense wouldn't go amiss. What style are you guys hoping for?
