And to think, it only took us 90 or so pages of hate-filled ranting over the best part of two years to get this released. Intrigued to hear Noel's reimagining of DYKWIM. Imagine if it's even longer. Flatulence Panic and theyknowwhatimean may have meltdowns

I can't stop looking over that tracklist again and again. Having a big smile on my face. And people don't forget: We'll most definitely get 2 bonus tracks on the japanese release as well, just like the Shakermaker and Hello demos! Yep, there could well be some more extras to come! On top of what was included in the standard 3CD versions, we also got the following: Definitely Maybe Shakermaker (Slide Up mix) [Japanese bonus track] Bring It On Down (Monnow Valley version) [Japanese bonus track] Bring It On Down (demo) [Live Demonstration cassette] Columbia (demo) (full-length version) [Live Demonstration cassette] Supersonic (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] Bring It On Down (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] Cigarettes & Alcohol (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] Digsy's Dinner (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] Slide Away (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] Married With Children (live Gleneagles 1994) [Amazon bonus download] (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Champagne Supernova (Lynch Mob Beats Remix) [12" promo replica] Hello (demo) [exclusive 7" single/Japanese bonus track] Wonderwall (Live at Knebworth Park) [Japanese bonus track]

D’You Know What I Mean? (NG's 2016 Rethink) is already on YouTube. Can anybody see the video?
EDIT: it says "Released on: 2016-07-22". I guess we're getting the announcement and this track tomorrow.

I doubt there'll be room for two bonus tracks at the end of the album. That is a very good point. We all know how chock full disc 1 is, Disc 2 is running to around 58 minutes before the two new tracks. Maybe there's space on disc 3. Be Here Now is 71:33. CDs can comfortably accommodate 80 minutes nowadays.

The Heroes and Street Fighting Man b-side covers are missing. Wouldn't fit on the discs or couldn't get the rights? Is the Angel Child Demo B-Side the same as Mustique? The DM remaster had I am the Walrus and Morning Glory had You've Got to Hide Your Love Away and Cum on Feel the Noize. And this has Help! As far as I know, an artist doesn't need permission to release a cover version, as long as they don't change it too drastically.

In my dreams a "naked" DYKWIM sounds like a badass cross between The Queen Is Dead and I Wanna Be Adored. Let's see if Noel's 2016 mix will be that epic.

Weren't "Heroes" and "Street Fighting Man" b-sides during this period? I would've thought they'd be on there as well.

I've just noticed that we're getting a demo for BHN (the track), labeled as "Trip Inside (Be Here Now) (Mustique Demo)". I thought it wasn't included on the original Mustique tape tracklist. oasisdna, davidjay, do you know anything about it? Could it be a "fake" demo like the ones we got on the MG reissue? I'm pretty sure that Owen Morris previously said that Be Here Now was demoed at Mustique, which is why I was very surprised when oasisdna said it wasn't on his tape.

They will be paying royalties on this, but they clearly don't mind donating a few quid to their idols.

Noel took his dong out with this release. Haven't you been a long time advocate for the official release of Help? All your dreams are made...

I'm guessing Noel preferred to use tracks he'd make royalties from...

Lennon always said he wanted it much much slower but the band needed "fast" and "catchy" pop songs. This is the version John Lennon probably wanted in his head. Great stuff.

Owen Morris did say in his blog a few years ago that Heroes and Street Fighting Man were bad decisions by the band. Maybe Noel agrees?!

Maybe somebody from Japan can see the video as it's the 22 up there already?

It appears that it is about the same length as the original from various sources online. 7:24, according to the YouTube video. So he managed to shave 19 seconds of feedback and airplane noise off it!

The single edit was 7:27, if I remember rightly - didn't have the aeroplane on it.
I'm sure he's said somewhere that the mix isn't that different but he's turned the strings up? Or something...

Is there anything that seperates a Mustique demo from a regular demo? Whats the hype? Stolen children's toys.

Owen was wondering why it was missing from the tracklist he had at home and posted/emailed to davidjay as well, since he recalled that they had definitely cut a version of that song on the island. It is real. EDIT: Sorry scottc, it was of course you who had contacted Owen...

When scottc spoke to Owen, I remember he confirmed that the song Be Here Now was definitely also demoed at Mustique but that for some reason it was missing off the initial list of demos he had from Metropolis studios. Belated thanks to Scott for this ! I'll find the original link to Scott's post in a sec and add it here... EDIT: Found the link: live4ever.proboards.com/thread/78710/more-info-mustique-bhn-sessionsSome more from Owen on this here: live4ever.proboards.com/post/1107066And on his website here: owenmorris.net/oasis/Hope the links all work ok and are of some help!
